  2. Yep, had to collect me other half from town at 01:00 and drive back to Bervie in the floods You know what Iain, I was wondering how you were getting on with the F1's as I feel the same. Was going to bin them at first but now they are bedded in they're ace Sorry for the hijack
  3. Aye they can be a wee bit of a handfull in the wet untill you get to know when to ease the power in But one thing the scoob could suffer from was 4wheel drift when pushed too far in the wet, where as the bmw you can steer with the right foot And still get it wrong Yep, like driving a fast leather sofa, quite nimble in the corners too! I'm running with 275's at the rear, the weather we had last weekend was fun
  4. Cheers Grant and all the best to yourself and the guys there, keep up the good work lads Hope you dont end up with too sore a heed with all the merry making A the best for 2009 Cheers Steve
  5. Looks a wee bit like the Prodrive P2 that made JC sick on Top Gear
  6. Better not try that in a Stewarty Milne house You'd end up in the foundations, even if it was an lightweight RA-R
  7. Cool mota there lad A bit of chalk and cheese with the scoob and the bimmer likes
  8. is it just me and my fuddled eyes or does the first pic look like a toy car? I would of been tempted to go for a carbon effect one, looks kida fun
  9. I can see both points of view here. Another way to look at these kind of things is like this, yes they will shock you and for a while you may even slow down a bit. But How long will it take you to forget about the whole point and carry on as before?
  10. Well done that man Just dont say any more on an open forum though
  11. I think whoever buys that will get pulled for thon front number plate
  12. It’s due to the fact that the harness strap is going straight down and has no effect in stopping you from travelling forward in an accident. Just think of a ruler standing on its end, straight up, push it over and it will topple forward. Now, if you have it on its flat it wont move, same idea as you’ve fitted your harness, it will move forward as its straight up Hope that makes sence
  13. I dont know Grant, I've a 528 sport for my runabout and also have a flat four as a toy, though it's not a scoob
  14. Thanks for that lads Never thought of Youtube Doh !!!! Will have to wait till later as I have to go and do some work now
  15. Was quite a happy bunny the now, just thought I'd download the last couple of programs as I'm stuck on a rig off Denmark the noo, with a few spare hours to maself Guess fit, no joy !!!!! Comes up saying as I'm not in the UK I cant download it. I suppose it's down to TV licence and all that guff, but I would of thought that the IP address from my laptop would be registered as UK based and therefore OK Or have I been up too long the night (as in aint been to bed yet and I'm not on night shift, but shhhhh, it's ok)
  16. Tidy Very tidy mate I've always likes the Evo 5's, in black it just looks a monster
  17. May be a silly question Have you checked the pressure of them? I had the Toyos on when I had the scoob and found them to be fine in most weather, I've not long changed the tyres on my current car to Goodyear F1's and to start with I thought they were total pants. I was even thinking of just binning them and getting a complete set of something else, and when your buying 18" at 275 they aint cheap Now after a few more miles the tyres are into their zone, so to speak, and last weekend I was taking the mick out of a front wheel drive car in the wet, not bad for a 5 series BMW Just give them a chance to bed in a bit more, they should come good
