  1. I am mate. I also was shown a video of it flaming going down duffus as well. Kinda explains how I went through £95 of Optimax in 5 hours, as I was chucking it all out the bloody exhaust
  2. Dave, really enjoyed the wee tussle we had, although that helmet is a little bit intimidating whenyou see it coming behind you (note to self: Iridium visor before next trackday ) I've found out why my car was handling like a bucket of poo, and it's all down to the geo set-up being waaayyy out. It was set up for 18" rims with the toe more agressive at the front and softened at the back. Although I learnt a lot about carhandling and control from it I think. Also you could see the 6 pots were working well. When you past me the braking into Duffus was visibly better by a mile. Looking forward to the next one.....
  3. He posts under mshoemark on the MLR
  4. Yeah I know Mike. He wouldn't have been goin that hard as he kept waiting for us ( three others to catch up) Didn't want to stuff it before it was hammered on the track, as the geometry was on twitchy setting. Although at one point he did set off on maximum attack, just outside Tulliallan and again about three miles from KH.
  5. Good Photos. Really shows off the track gradients well. Some nice pics and I made a couple of them
  6. Yeah mate I know.Full decat and induction kit and it's overfuelling like a 'B'. Better that than running lean. I also changed oil and slightly overfilled it. So on both counts I got the smoke. Made for some serious flames going into MacIntyres. West Lotian Scoob got it on vid.
  7. P1 belonged to Kart_Man. Well sorted machine and the driver ain't bad either As a driver that is
  8. First off a big thanks to JohnS and his crew for organising another stonking trackevent. Superb day and the Sun shining as well. Some very nice machines on the go, although a bit dis-appointed that I didn't see the Ultimas getting a roasting. Heard them often enough, just never came across them on track apart from the one pointing the wrong way at the hairpin The Skyline was very impressive and extremely fast. Cannot wait until the new trackday season. Rose...yer secrets safe with me Oh, and by the way. Can I have my door handle back please
  9. Yer a nutta!! Guid fun tho' Seen a bit if video that WLS took. The Evo flaming on over-run coming out of Duffus, heading for MacIntyres...cool!!!
  10. Not had a reply back from cameron yet??!!
  11. << EVOJKP, I touch goats about a different venue and date. >> Dougster, I've sent him a PM.
  12. << Grant you and I put together weigh the same as John!!! Subaru Win. >> HEY!!! I resemble that remark
  13. Kenny, I think Kircaldy was picked as a central location for folk coming from the North and South, as there is a lot of Drivers based in the Central belt and the North East. If it is a success, then we'd be looking to up the Ante, for the next one!!!
  14. The only date left is the 28th November 2.30pm Start! 30 people minimum £40 per head!! EVO'S against Subarus www.kartstart.com Kirkcaldy If we can't fill the slot with just us, then invites to other clubs will be issued. C'mon and take a whoooping!!!!
  15. Who is up for a bit of banter and pride bashing, with a them and us contest. MLR versus the SIDC, in a Scottish Karting competition. Not decided on a date or venue yet, but I would like to gauge interest, to see if it is something that can be done. ...John
  16. << There are a ton of us meeting at MacD's as arranged in the general section. >> Sorry mate. That's not a place I go, so I missed it. Thought I'd catch most people in here. Oh well
  17. FRB MacDonalds anytime after 11:30hrs. Leaving around 12:15'ish for those who have to sign on.
  18. Are there any peeps wishing to meet up for a bite to eat and a blether before travelling up to KH next Saturday?? Usual place would be the FRB MacD's then head up after a spot of Mad Coo and watered down coffee, but I don't know if that would be such a good idea with the FRB Mad Roadworks at the moment. Anyone have a better solution or meeting place for those coming from the South of the Water?? Somewhere near the Kincardine Bridge perhaps?? West Lothian Scooby. You still wanting a lift up mate? Text me!!
  19. Good figures. If you don't mind me asking what were your ATW figures and boost levels??
  20. Derek, done, for worthy cause....but oh so much pain you'll suffer. A marathon in the dam!! Just be sure to properly reward yourself after the event. Good Luck (for the night-time) ...John
  21. Although I don't advocate its use, but the DIY section of Scoobynet has a lot of plumber and heating type folk frequenting them. Post up their and see if they can help. I take it you bled the radiators with the pump off?? Have you tried to re-bleed after 30mins? Is there any air present? If it is a combi, do you have sufficient pressure within the heating loop? Possibly just needs a top up. Follow instruction for the boiler. Usually a three way manual valve on the bottom on the boiler. Probably totally useless info..sorry.
  22. Brian, I might be going up for a gander. If so, then I could give you a lift, if you don't have it back by then that is.
  23. Brian, I thought that was where you had the off'. I went for a blast up that road this afternoon, although I find it too bumpy in the Evo. Once your in three figures, one bump and the backend kicks up....adios amigo!! Good that your getting the car too Nobles. You'll be getting a frequent customer discount soon
  24. Bloody hell mate. I wondered why you had not come back past the house. Hopefully you should get it sorted quickly, and that you and your cuz are okay. Bet he still prefers the primera I know what you mean about the road conditions up that way. I went a blast last night on the backroads around Forth (a nice playground with some yumps and serious twisty stuff) and was totally caught out, ending the opposite way up a farm road, which if it had not been there, I would have been in the field. I was going to take a blast up your favourite road as well, but decided on another route at the last moment. ...John
  25. These are sooperdly, chuckable cars. The wife went looking at one of these a while back and I had the salesman squirming at the rate I threw it round corners. The mother in law has the baby one, which still handles well for what it is. I may have mised something, but what happened to the RB5?? That was a seriously nice car. ...John
