  2. Did you get a loan of the leathers and the skid-lid chris, or do you own said garments? []
  3. Dunno mate, but there is a VERY nice one for sale on here, by a regular SIDC member - 2559B. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/630431/ShowPost.aspx Think he's looking for £9,200 for it.

  10. Bought my car off them about a year ago, dealt with Keiran, no problems. Deal went fine, car has gone fine since, was quite happy with the deal i got. Also dealt with Lorna in service, always helpful and they have came up to Bellshill a couple of times to pick the car up when it's needed a service or I was having mods done. Ian in parts department was also spot-on - ordered some bits and he posted them up to me to save a drive, all arrived when they said they would. They also do the 10% discount for SIDC memebrs, on parts & service. What u thinking of buying?
  11. Na - the sealant is melting. When you stick both halfs back together you have to re-heat the sealant so it will stick the lense to the back bit again. I'll nip thru and give you a hand if you want - i was the same as you - a bit feart i'd muck it up. But i watched Jamie closely when he done mine and i'd be confident enough to do it myself now. Buy the bulbs and geez a shout.
  12. Hullo Martin. My car has been de-tangoed, and so has Gus The Bus. It does make quite a difference to the look of the front (IMHO). You need to take the headlights out, remove the 8 or 9 small screws that hold the lense onto the back bit (remembering the one underneath a wee bit of foam!) then heat the sealant round the lense - Jamie done mine and used hot water (kettle) and his Mrs. hairdryer - start at one corner and gently prize open the lense. Once the lense is off be careful not to touch the inside of it (fingerprints) then the orange bit should just clip out. Re-attach the lense (Jamie didnt use any new sealant on mine and they have never misted-up since) then re-do all the 8 or 9 screws, plug back in and fit some silvatec bulbs (available from Revolution) and job's a good-un! If your ordering the bulbs, best to order two sets and swap the rears out while u are there. Jamie spray-painted my orange bulbs silver though and they still looked & worked fine so you might want to do that (the bulbs from Revolution are about £15 per pair) Bound to be pics on the forum somewhere of Gus's motor - check the for sale sections and there might be pics from when he was selling his wheels. Think Irish Al has done his too. There's a pic of Al's car on Ricey's 19" Aerospeed alloys thread. HTH Andy

  16. Gus - just my opinion bud, but yours looks the dawg's danglies without the graphics. Now, i have to admit, i am also looking at graphics myself (not the SWRT ones) so i understand the reason for looking into it! P.S. if you decide to go ahead, karps might be able to help too! I'll wait a few days before i postup my ideas.
