  1. That looks absolutely cracking - wish i had a spare grand floating about!
  2. Class find there Chris. [Y]
  3. Not at all Chris.... i'm sure there are many people very interested to know what you will be kicking out. Quite interested myself! When do you reckon you'll be able to get it RR'd?
  4. Hepy - going to PM you in a min.
  5. I dont think it is the one you are thinking about, the car from Swifts aka Xtreme is white with a black/carbon boot and bonnet IIRC, the one you are thinking about sits in B'gate a lot and has an Extreme sticker on it, if memory serves me right that has had work done by Star Performance. Xtreme's car is much quicker, last time I seen it it was running circa 450BHP with anti-lag, remote wastegate etc it also runs Autronic management and was mapped by Mark Shead of MA developments. Last time I was talking to the lads in Xtreme they were planning more for this year, looking at circa 600BHP+ but they were worried about the EVO's AYC and such like giving them grief so were planning on ripping it out. John. Ah! Fair do's John - perhaps i just passed Xtreme one day and the white-with-red-bumpers EVO happened to be parked outside at the time. I do see it quite a lot down in Bathgate so that would make sense! I knew he had a fast Evo, i just assumed that it was his.
  6. I didnt when i first got the prodrive springs fitted but the car was in S&S for a service a few months later and i asked them to alter the settings while it was in there. Fair bit of difference noticed, even although i dont push the car much!
  7. Fair enough Martin, never seen a bad word said against ProGrip, but they guy who owns Xtreme in Whitburn owns a highly-tuned Evo so I guess he knows his stuff. You'll probably see it if your going up to AWD open day - it's the white one with red bumpers.
  8. CLCM - 0131 453 2698. Never used them myself. There's also a place in Whitburn - Xtreme Motorsport. 01501 741548.
  9. Aye! Get a wee sneaky shot in chris. Then chris-toff proven-sal can do the bongo bongo treatment on her []
  10. Is this her?
  11. I think she might be a carrot-top Andy, and i seem to recall a picture of her wearing dungarees. **Disclaimer** - oobster DOES NOT think there is anything wrong with carrot-tops.
  12. Martin St3ph3n recently damaged his scott lowe splitter on a speed bump, and he's got the Tein's on. BUT he doesn't have the STI front bumper winglets, so if you got the teins on yours i suspect it wouldnt be long before your splitter got scraped too. I've got the prodrive springs & geometry on mine, with the sti winglets + scott lowe splitter, and even then it still scrapes sometimes. The splitter is away being re-painted at the moment actually. The prodrive springs do drop the car a fair amount, not as much as the teins but enough to make the wheels fill the arches better, and the handling is definitely improved. Can't comment on the Whiteline gear, as i haven't done any of that on mine (yet!). Would also recommend the strut braces though.
  13. That GT3 RS is bootiful. Braw pics Col []
  14. This might help - courtesy of google-earth. Postcode is KA13 3AZ by the way.
  15. Each to their own & all that. Personally i thought the Aussie GP was the best i've seen for a long time. Schumacher's unforced accident, the Montoya incident, the first lap incident involving Massa, Klein & Rosberg, Button's blow-up on the last bend. Webber dropping out while in the lead, the dice between Kimi & Montoya in the opening couple of laps, Ralf's excellent drive to claim 3rd. Cracking action. How crap is Rubens though?
  16. Ah! Fair do's. Just me being think then [:S]
  17. Chris - this might not be much use to you but since no-one else has replied since 11.00am this morning.... I got the Subaru dealer in Penicuik to colour-code mine. Guy made an excellent job of them and charged me £120. Even took them off for me & re-fitted them after painting. Nice smooth finish too. At least it gives you some idea of price.
  18. Braw Martin. What's next on the mod list? P.S. Maybe me just being thick, but how come the 206 'wagon' next to your car appears to be without a rear window?
  19. Would they take my left testicle as payment? Coz i would have that, oh yes. But it would be a waste, coz i'd have to put it in a garage and never drive it incase i got it dirty or stone-chipped it.
  20. I spotted it in Livi centre car park about two years ago. Made me want to gouge my eyes out with rusty nails. I don't mean to be horrible, but surely the owner has some mental health problems?
  21. Nice one - looking forward to seeing the motor with them on - what colour scooby you got/what flavour?
  22. Just kiddin. It's a S&S courtesy car - mine is in for a small warranty repair. Should get it back the morra night. Just wish I could afford the Black hawkeye STI thats in their showroom. The courtesy car seems to have a built-in warning system for speed cameras, but there's no obvious switch on the dash [:S]
