  1. There's - over in Livingston. Not really that close to fife, i know. Seen some of their work & was impressed.
  2. Very nice Carl [] Looks like it was well worth the journey.
  3. Chris Every night on the way home I pass one of those trailers that are parked in a farmers field next to the motorway - this particular one is jst as you approach Junction 4 (Bathgate/Whitburn) from the Glasgow direction, on the M8. I can't mind all the details but the company name is, i think, RM Coatings and the whole advert is about repairing/refurbishing alloy wheels. It's an 01506 number (again - i think). Might be worth a look next time your passing. Never used them, only noticed the advert. Only company i have used is up outside Dundee (Carnoustie?) - Coatech, Ewan is the guy - 01241 854 911. Dougster gave me the contact details and the wheel he done for me came back minted. Think it was 50 notes and that included the delivery back down to me via courier.
  4. Ah right. I think it was snowing in that area around 4.30-5.00pm.
  5. is 3A the one next to the pyramids, where Motorola used to be?
  6. Spotted a grey/silver Honda S2000 on the hard-shoulder on the way home tonight, between Harthill services and the Whitburn/Bathgate junction. Front end was well stoved-in, no lights or bumper, bonnet looked well crumpled. Back bumper was still in place but looked well smacked on the nearside corner. No other cars around so he had either done a 360 and smacked the central reservation or the other cars involved had been removed. Some mess anyway. By the way - fitted those PIAA silicon windy wipers at the weekend - expensive, but very good - was pee'ing down most of the way home and hardly had to turn the wipers on once. 35-bangers from Scoobyworld.
  7. Stevie Walkers in Bathgate is fairly decent - might be worth a wee trip over. His number is 01506 633 471.
  8. Part of a group-buy on Scoobynet - Midland Wheels were the supplier. £595 for a set of 4 18" wheels inc. Toyos (T1S though, not R) They are those Inovit wheels made abroad somewhere - quality may be fine for me that pootles about most of the time, but dunno how they'd perform if you were to subject them to some fast road/track use.

  10. Muppets is a bit strong - the type of stuff posted in the 'other place' is complete and utter tosh compared to whats on here. All we have is stuff that is off-topic, hence the requirement for a Non-Scooby-Related section. All IMHO of course.
  11. The 'cluttering' of the main scottish scoobies section with off-topic threads does not bother me in the slightest, but i do admit that something similar to the NSR section of ScoobyNet might be a good idea in here, and hopefully might quieten-down the tiff's that seem to occur fairly regularly.
  12. Very nice..... could be doing with getting dropped an inch-and-a-half though? Just my opinion!
  13. There's a guy on eBay that sells Vivitar cameras - i got a 7MP digi camera for about £70 all-in, and the picture quality is excellent. LMB Direct i think his eBay shop is called.

  17. Nice one Tommy [] S&S i presume? If only i knew my job was safe i might consider this.
  18. Very nice ed, although i prefer the silver grilles. But smart all the same.
  19. Some nice pics there lads [] My dad was a keen amature photographer - back in the days when there was no digital cameras. He had his own developing studio up the loft, with the 3 baths with the chemicals in & everything! He only developed black & white pics i seem to remember. The interest hasn't found it's way down to his son though! I espcially like the snow-covered trees one you showed Col - thats a cracker.
  20. Bottom pic - black wheels, polished rim.
  21. Aye right then - 'they all say that' []
  22. This might help ricey...

  24. the URL links button on this forum doesn't always work. Is your photobucket account private or public? If it's public just type in the address and i'll try to make a link for you.
  25. well you want to go into photobucket and click on the pic that you want on here. Copy & Paste the URL onto this forum, putting the IMG tags before and after - e.g. [ IMG ]http://images.photobucket.com/scoob155/albums/PIC01.JPG[ /IMG ] (taking out the spaces i've put into the IMG tags)
