I've used Ally @ 360complete.net before and he's good. He posts on PistonHeads too, if you want to do a search over there on some of the nice machinery he has done for other PH'ers.
-
Already posted twice in the off-topic section.

Looks braw Brian

Another commendation for SL - used him lots of times (been a bit unlucky with door dings) and he always manages to get the dents out. Not too expensive either.
-
Give Stephen at SL Dent a call about the dent on your wing - he's good.

Dunno why people are bothering - no privacy issues as it was on public roads. So people think some nasty crooks are gonna look on Google maps to plan where to nick a car from? Why don't they just jump in their car and go for a drive round the area looking for cars to steal rather than looking on the web at a map that is showing a pic of your drive/parking area from 9 months ago? (maybe less but not much!)
I agree too - the maps are, in some cases, nearly a year old so not the most reliable way of trying to find a car to steal.
Are you going to cover the car up when you take it anywhere, cover it up outside your house/work etc?
-
No probs - glad you got it sorted.
-
Now there is a good idea!

Red car with white wheels looked ok (well I would say that) so white with red should work too. I genuinely like the red wheels but I don't like them any better than the white wheels - both are equal amounts of smart.
-
Mmmm. I like the red, but then I like the white.
But I don't know what one is best.
There's only one way to find out....

Spotted the car tonight Brian at the "hauf loaf" roonaboot - I was a few cars back. Looked braw!

If you really don't fancy having a go at it yourself then try giving Andrew at Magma a call - he is based in Pumpherston, West Lothian. 01506 440144
-
I believe so.

I've met John @ JKP - he was going to do my red blobeye but I ended up selling the bugger. Seems like a throughly decent chap who certainly appeared to know his stuff (and made a braw job of Brian's hatch).
You might also want to try Ally at 360complete.net - I've used him (on my pishy focus) and he was good.
-
Excellent work! I wonder if the detailing bug has now bitten the owner
-
Looks superb Brian, the Supernatural wax really is great. Smells excellent too!

Gus
Cheers, i'll keep my eye on the events section.

More than welcome Neil until you get another Subaru
(I might not always be along in an Impreza either
.but only when its off the Road for the winter
)
How about a ****ey auld leaky Ford Gus, would I be treated like a lepper if I was to turn up?
All the folk i'd never met before would be able to recognise me due to the wellies i'd be wearing. Only way to keep my feet dry when using that heap of junk parked in my driveway at the moment.
-
Congratulations Gus!

Anyone ever read the story about the bloke in America who used a sock as a oil filler cap on his BMW (think it was an M3) and it got sucked down into the engine. That was a funny thread!
-
Definitely a big improvement there Brian - whats next?
-
Just remember the old saying I heard years ago - "There's no pockets in a shroud". Get the leggeras bought!
-
Shockarooney - another deliberately provoking comment from our resident equine's schlong from Montrose.
