STI spoiler fitting in cental?
peter_macgowan replied to andy_robertson's topic in Scottish Scoobies
I have an 02. Just lift up the boot unscrew the four corners and disconnect the spoiler light. The spoiler should lift straight off. Slot the new one on. If it has the sponge strip right round the spoiler you might get away without the silicon but I put silicon on the for screws inside and outside the boot then slotted the new spoiler on and tightened the nuts. (silicon to be on the safe side) I think it was either a 12mm or 14mm deep socket that I used for the nuts. If you dont have a spoiler light in your new STI one you must silicon a cap or something in the hole cable went through or you will end up with a couple of inches of water in your boot, like i did You might need a hand just hold the spoiler in position while you are tightening the bolts. It is pretty simple to do. Hope this helps -

What model of Scoob do you have. I fitted my own on the bugeye piece of cake. I just had to remember and silicon the 4 holes where the screws went in. The spoiler fitted perfectly no drilling. -

Depends where your flying from, Flying Scot in Paisley is where I take mine flying from Glasgow. Has security fences and camera's. So it should be pretty safe. Ive had no problems. I go away 3-4 times a year.

Can I ask one thing, on that Thursday did you phone me Jambo Scooby and leave a message on my mobile. I think it was as you also posted in the forums to phone Falkirk Police Station the car stolen was infact an Audi. Jambo I have no idea what your brothers name is. As far as I know Ive been the only one contacting the police and Ive been sober. The only person Ive been asking is the PC that was at my house that night. You can PM Jambo if you want his name. Was it your brother who told about the phone calls ? Were they using your real name or your forum name when phoning police ? Someone is taking the pish here or wanting to know what information the police have. I thought it might have been a good thing posting on here, thinking someone would spot the car. Im starting to regret it now because someone thinks they are having a laugh or they know something about the car. Im trying to forget this happened and as the days go on it gets slightly easier. Now this. I really dont know what to think now.

Is this a new colour for WRX I thought you could only get WR1 in Aqua. Just been surfing and this popped up. Went into Subaru.co.uk and they dont list this as WRX Colour.
