Karps I have the Afterburner and centre section on my 2.5 STI the back box hits off the diffuser as well. After a few day of knocking I got a hacksaw and cut the corner off the diffuser. The afterburner and centre section make a nice loud burble when you out the foot down but suprisingly quiet when ticking over.

The ninja from bug/blob will fit on the 06. No probs, I actually sold mine before I got the 06 thinking it was different fittings. I got the car checked out and exactly the same CS and backbox size. So I had to go buy a new exhaust Centre Section and Afterburner Vortex. Probably louder than what you are looking for. Like previous posts if you are after subtle burble CS and prodrive, sport backbox. When its better weather over the weekend ill get a sound clip up of the vortex on an 06 STI

Good, good getting that burble back. I had my 06 STI up at dastek for the rolling road a few months back and it still had the standard exhaust. After hearing everyone elses on the ramps and remembering what my WRX was like with the Ninja I had to get a new exhaust. I have put a centre section, Afterbruner Vortex and a Green panel filter on it and what a difference. Very nice sounding indeed. Not too bad on tick over but when you open it up it sounds the dogs bollox.

Yup you have to be very careful. Especially on the forums as well. Lost count how many pics ive seen on here with cars in front of their houses. [] Nearly a year and half since my old car was stolen like this.

I had morrettes similar to those on my bugeye. If I remember correctly it was the same plugs and wiring for the OE headlights except the main headlight had to have a permanent supply to the battery. I'll have a rake around and see if I can find the wiring diagram. I may have given it away with the car.

The Northern Ireland car above is a WRX. with prodrive spoiler. STI does not have fog lamps and thats not an STI backbox. Previous owner must have put the roof spoiler on as extra as well. Very tidy looking car !

Hey Alan nice car. I just had the afterburner and centre section fitted to my car last week. It brings back the burble. Its pretty quiet on tickover. But when you open it up it sounds real good. Did not think the burble would come back on 06 but it did.

Hi I have an 06 and bought the splitter from Revolution, add £20 for delivery onto the price. Im not sure how much Scott Lowe charges. I got the splitter about 2 weeks ago and struggled to fit it. Even the local subaru garage had a go and it had to be bent quite a bit for it to fit. I sent it back and Revolution are sending out a new one. When the got the splitter I sent back they fitted it to thier own 06 and it fitted ok. Seemingly you have to bend it a bit to fit. There are 3 plastic studs 6 in total on the corners of the the bumper, fit them first then screw in the rest of the splitter. You will have to drill at least half a dozen holes into the bumper to get it to fit correctly. Both splitters are the same apart from a revolution badge on one and STI on the other. The choice is yours.

I'll get some pics up later, I took some after i got the exhaust fitted. Hopefully get the front splitter fitted on the car this week as well.
