that is truly stunning mate......

once the modding starts it never stops mate....may be a wiser move to go for a front mount just now cos when you start going for more power then it will probs mean changing the intercooler again as part of the mods....(not trying to sound negative btw, just been in the position where ive spent money on mods, then more changing them again shortly after
)

i remember it well.....thinking back it actually wasn't too bad back then.
it just needed a better header and up pipe and i'm sure now it would be even better.
ah, the early days when things were so much simpler with these cars, eh Peter??

Fuel surge is always a issue on KH at the hair pin unless you have more than 1/2 tank.
So dare i say it "Swirl Pot is your friend" but you will need an external pump too.
Scot.....i hope my/your car will be ready for the next event.See you then
twin external bosch pumps already fitted alongside the swirlpot in the boot
peter, hope so too, am sure they will be

Im looking for an exhaust for the P1. Ive been looking at the H+S group buy on Scoobynet. I like the jap angled backbox as its similar to the one i had on the Terzo (afterburner with burnt tip). Then i will get elite/meercat to mate a decat downpipe and centre section to it. What i need to know is what im better going for, 2.5 or 3 inch? Im not really bothered about horsepower chasing (famous last words). Id like a nice fast road car 300-350bhp, obviously i will be doing other upgrades to achieve this and get a remap with Ecutek, Simtek, Apexi, whats your thoughts on these, which is best etc? Best way to achieve this power on a P1? Car is totally standard at the moment.
Then id like to focus on brakes and suspension. It has the prodrive upgrade brakes which should be fine?? Then id like to concentrate on stiffening up the chassis with some whiteline goodies. Its no doubt the start of a slippery slope haha. My last scoob was a standard uk car, no engine mods, so its about time i got stuck in
Cheers
Dan
blitz nur spec r if you decide to buy off the shelf....if you are getting 1 made can recommend alan jeffrey(engine tuner)..bit far away so you would have to get it made and sent up, but the work and service are first class.....

yup... drysumping is a bit costly for the 'budget' impreza
So... apart from a replacement baffled sump, are there drop in baffle trays on the market. With vertical trap doors to pool the oil around the pickup (not horizontal like cosworth)
had been having a look around for something like this but couldnt find anything, 1 of the boys i know does work on some subaru rally cars and asked about a baffled sump from 1 of them but it was going to be too costly....saying that, spending a lot of cash then i would guess dry sump the way to go. whats the expected cost of kits??
-
You havent mentioned a budget mate but what about this one...
