  8. . . . . . .and especially if you got the wrong coloured screw covers in the numberplate, that's really asking for trouble lol
  9. You need to pick up the A2 and stay on it right through Kidbrooke (Rochester Way Relief Road) and under the Sun-in-the-Sands roundabout where it becomes the A102, the Blackwall Tunnel Southern Approach. You would by now have spotted the O2 in the distance and it will be fully signposted. Have you booked a parking space since I don't know that you can get parked without. If you have then be prepared for a long time getting away from there - make sure you go to the loo and stay warm just in case you're stuck in the car park for ages getting out lol. I went to the O2 by bus to see The Boss just before Christmas and the car park was heaving and they weren't going anywhere - the bus on the other hand just breezed it. Have a good night.
  10. . . . . . and the small matter of chocolates
  11. Apart from the screws and the fact that the bs number was missing, just how 'non-legal' is your plate
  12. Following the success of the past two years trips to France we're going to be off to Bruges this year. There is a thread on our site but basically the details are as follows. Date - Saturday 5 July We travel there and back on the shuttle - times to be announced - anyone travelling will then be responsible for booking their own vehicle with Eurotunnel and ensuring all their passenger and car documents are in order. Badboy Baza attended last years trip and will vouch for our good conduct lol Add your name to the list if interested
  13. UPDATE - A decision has been made............this years trip to France will actually be to BRUGES, which is in Belgium and only 70 miles from the shuttle terminal in Calais. Given that this is a far bigger place than we've been to in the last two years I would propose that we there and spend the day. Continue watching this space for proposed journey times and so on. Just had a quick look at the Eurotunnel site and shuttle costs will be in the order of £59 per car, if we travel out before 09:00 and return after 21:00. In the meantime perhaps we should start a list of interested travellers; Baser999 and Tania
  14. His fuel consumption stopped altogether when he was pulled over on to the hard shoulder
  15. If this is going to be your only source of earnings its possible that the Revenue will not accept that you are self-employed. Have a look at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/pdfs/ir56.htm#2. which gives some pretty good advise as to whether you are employed or self-employed.
  16. . . . . . .and they're posting them to my 'chosen' address
  17. Nearly double that!
  18. Just ordered a set of mudflaps and asked about an SIDC discount and was given 10% - don't know that they're on the discounters 'list' so said I'd stick a post on here for them
  19. Was just about to post up a new thread....been looking for someone to check mine - starboard side tubes seem to fire before the portside ones

  21. Followed one back along the South Circular tonight......that is one hell of a good looking motor
  22. Hope us Kentish folk haven't driven the Londoners away
  23. Unlikely I can make the whole trip so asked Andy , the originator of the thread, what sort of times they were looking at being at various points en-route. Seems they're hoping to do a dry run in February when details will then be posted on the main thread. We should then be able to make our own plans, either individfually or as a club.
