As there clearly wasn't enough interest in a weekend trip, we'll run another day trip on SATURDAY 5 JULY - which is the same weekend as last years run - lets hope the weathers as good. Details of proposed shuttle times, route and so on to follow. Note your diaries.

Bit in the local rag this week about TfL planning to refurb the northbound bore of the Blackwall Tunnel in 'the spring' which could mean disruptions for up to 2 years . The n/bound bore would be shut weekday nights from 9pm to 5am and traffic would run thro' the s/bound bore instead with inevitable speed restrictions etc . S/bound traffic is going to be sent off to other river crossings. This is all still under consultation but will no doubt go ahead regardless.

Think we're going to have rethink Notcutts as a Sunday lunch venue - waited ages for the food and it really wasn't up to much. Perhaps we could try out that pub at Riverhead we went to in the summer? Will try and get over there and see if they do Sunday roast dinners

Thanks for the advice - hadn't really planned on spending £148 though which is what Scott Lowe are asking. Would you guys that do have them recommend flaps with brackets ? There are some on fleabay at the moment and altho' the flaps look man-enough, they only screw on and I can see them falling off after a while?

Got 215/40/17s on my 00 classic

Granby has kindly pointed out that he'll be taking us all down to the seaside again for his birthday on Sunday 3 August so we're down to the 7 June or 5 July for the trip. If we're seriously looking at making this a Saturday/Sunday trip we're going to have to make a decision soon especially from the viewpoint of getting accommodation sorted. Could I propose that we run a list until the end of the month FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN STOPPING OVER.
