Am interested - will confirm as soon as I can - in the meantime have sent my details
  3. Thats why its only £188 lol . Imho turning S22FTY into swifty is going to require a lot of dodgy lettering or screws in the plate
  4. Go steady Ian - thats twice you filled up this month - are you starting to stock up indoors just in case there's a shortage?
  5. Probably convoy down with you Ian
  6. If people are gonna start dropping like flies and I can get the time off I'll add myself back on the list lol
  7. Sadly not going to be able to make this now - am on nights that weekend and can't really get the time off - have adjusted the list
  8. Picked up the F50 in the week - got the full set now
  9. Pink brake calipers should finish it off a treat. . . . . sorry Neil, not keen on pink - suppose it doesn't matter though as you can't see it when you're inside the car lol
  10. Are you arranging a date for this or is he doing the work on an 'as and when basis?' Possibly going over to my sons in Abingdon next weekend (25/26/27) and got a few dents that it would be nice to leave there lol Is he mobile and what sort of money does he charge?
  11. Colleague at work, lives in Dartford, looking to have a kitchen extension done and she wanted an estimate for the electrical work. Anyone interested? Don't know that she's got any builders on board yet so if theres anyone wanting the whole job. . . . . .
  12. Got these on my00 classic and had no problems - got over 18000 miles out of the last set
  13. what colour was the car?
  14. The basic UK Turbo is surely going to give around 215bhp as standard which would be well above most of the other cars your mates are driving Andy, with the extra benefit of 4wd - why price yourself out of a Scooby by buying an import that albeit will have that bit of extra bhp but be much more difficult if not impossible to insure, as you're finding out. I bought my00 classic in 2005, never having driven a 'performance' car before and the additional bhp over my Scorpio was indeed very noticeable. I kept it basic for about 18mths before having it remapped. I can't really offer any further advice on your insurance, being more in your dads age-group and having been driving for years with full ncb. I still pay £500 despite all that!
  15. Sounds like the title of some dodgy movie lol.....along these lines I used to see a car years ago, registration ORG 45M
  16. Seems to be the F50 I'm missing
  17. Use of the plural suggests more than one ticket - are you going on more than one night or is there some other individual going with you.....do tell lol
  18. Looks like I'm sorted then - will borrow the booster and the seat if thats ok and see how how the littl'un gets on - with many thanks to Swifty and Baz
  19. Can't make the Wharf next week but if Granbys there perhaps you could pass it on to him and I'll collect it from his sometime? Failing that I'll meet you somewhere - they're not here until early August
  20. Thank you- think its the F50 or F430 I'm missing - check when i get home
  21. I got 5 of them but not sure which one I'm missing - anyone know the full range?
  22. Been on to Tanias sister and it seems that the littl'un still uses a proper seat back at home so would prefer to go down that route if possible, if anyone can help out? However would like to take up Swiftys offer of the booster seat as well, just in case we don't go with the full seat.
  23. I suspect that when you give the insurers your registration it might come up on their screens as an import? If you plead ignorance and then get the car nicked or damaged - albeit by you or someone else - the insurers won't pay you
  24. ooooooooooooooooooooh get you with your posh post - bet you send those Christmas cards with the glitter on
  25. Most of the Pimlico Plumbers vans I've seen around have a private plate
