  1. Had a run around the south circular today at around 2.30, from about Forest Hill to Wandsworth, with a silver K-reg classic import. That white van nearly had you as you turned off at the lights lol
  2. Was going to say the same thing as Hugh. The classic bulb is a dual-filament (high/low beam) unlike all the later imprezas which have separate bulbs - no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong. You need the H4 bulb.
  3. Are they standard classic seats Gary - difficult to make out from the piccies - what was the ebay number, piccies might be clearer on there?
  4. Double posting again Hugh Any idea as to costings ?
  5. Is this the woman in the hot-tub?
  6. Touching your goat m8y
  7. Very interested, but at the moment its a case of how much its gonna cost as I have dings on every door
  8. Couple of lads with an 01 or 02 plate in the Wharf car park last night - looked like you'd just bought it by the way you were looking it over?
  9. My sticker order number is 140 and I thought I saw somewhere there were only 180? If so, better get in quick cos if you haven't got a sticker they won't let you in at Prodrive
  10. Ever since they were arrested in the pantomine cow they've had to think up another act
  11. Looks like he's going to take over Trevors title for 'man in scarey shorts' lol
  12. I reckon that ad was gonna have some mention to T5 opening, but then when it all went t*ts up at LHR they edited it out - can't see any other reason for Cadburys going with that theme can you?
  13. Weather forecast. . . . . . . 12 degrees and sunny intervals. Have a nice day
  14. Bet it don't rain as hard as it did 2 years ago - seem to remember it was just very cold and windy last year, especially on that walk back from the carpark. . . ps have a good time lol
  15. Anyone checked the stolen scoobies section
  16. Mine are 6000k which I was told were probably the brightest that you could get that were still 'legal' - any brighter and they start to get very blue and potentially failable at your mot. However they made the sidelights very yellow by comparison so I stuck in a couple of neons so they all looked white - Deano swapped the neons over when he put the car through the mot as he felt they'd fail. Have still to swap over the foglight bulbs but since I very rarely use them I'll do them at a later date. Imho the Hids are certainly better than the standard headlights - I bought the dual filament bulbs for mine so I have the brighter light on low and main beam
  17. Watch out Jill. . . . . .happy birthday Hugh
  18. On my00 classic we stuck the offside one on the inside of the wheel housing using some serious double sided tape. The nearside one we managed to slot down between the headlight and the battery but again used some tape
  19. Now that the overall plans seem to be coming together could I propose this thread be moved to the Important topic section?
  20. I had read the other thread before posting my comments. At no stage have I suggested it was anyones fault - it was merely an observation that the initial thread about getting a gazebo was in September last year and yet we still don't have it. I accept that the original models were discarded on account of their not being sturdy enough and that we were going with Taunton Canopies instead, but this decision seems to have been made at the back end of October. If I'm right their gazebo could apparently be available within 48 hours, delivered. I know we're having it sign-written so presume this is where the delay has arisen? My personal feelings are that if we're paying in the order of £570 we should be getting a better service than this, hence my comment about it being a farce which I still stand by. My comments weren't intended to blame anyone, merely voicing my concerns at the delays
  21. Quite agree with you Ian - and there's a lot of others I believe feel the same. The initial thread was posted up on 24 September last year (although the subject of a club gazebo is I understand an annual one) and nearly 8 months later we still don't have it - its a bloody farce! Why bother with that company? Furthermore its a hell of a lot of money. Lets scrap that company altogether and look elsewhere Failing that give everyone their money back - after all not everyone at the clubs contributed to it.
  22. Just seen the thread for Oxon Scoobies day out at Abingdon Air Show - looks the biz when you get a gazebo up (even if its only a roof! ) and everyone parks round it. It gives the club so much more of a professional turn out. . . sorry guys but it would have been good yesterday and after all surely its for the likes of yesterdays show that we were buying one?
  23. 1. Oh go on, just let me nibble your ear, the wives needn't know our little secret. 2. Look, same watch as you although I got the one with the plastic strap 3. Look, just there. . . . .he does have a tiny Larkins car sticker on it
