  1. Nor me.......night shifts that weekend
  2. Seems I'm in the minority in so far as I work two complete weekends out of every five - if we go for a Sunday I'd only be able to make the 19th.
  3. I've put a thread on the Essex crew events section of Scoobynet but didn't know how to create the necessary clicky Don't know if someone can do this or whether it should have been done at the time of the posting . . . . and heres a man that was given a computer at Christmas lol.
  4. Start of the list then ....... Baser999 - either date
  5. Hastings would undoubtedly be a better bet - bit more going on than in Herne Bay (local shops for local people....) and more fun getting there as the north kent coast after all is just a slog along the main road . Well if everyones happy with Hastings we'd best decide on the 11th or 18th and the time. I'm happy with either date and whatever times convenient so perhaps someone could start a list Looks like the usual faces again although the thread has only just started.
  6. Herne Bay or Whitstables fine by me and theres no doubt somewhere we could grab a bite to eat . Doesn't it defeat the object of having a "cruise" though if you're going to be able to walk there lol At least if the weather turned bad we could all go back to yours ...........
  7. I'm sure there's been that many on the list before Deano but how many actually turn up is a different matter...........
  8. Rather than relying on Essex to provide us with our run-outs I wonder if there's enough interest in organising one of our own next month , perhaps Saturday 11th or 18th February. Going down to the coast is perhaps the obvious destination and yes I know that its still a bit cold but we could always find a fish shop on the front for something to eat when we got there. It's since been suggested that we make it either Sunday 19th or 26th - I hadn't realised quite so many people worked on a Saturday and we could also make more of a day of it , grab a pub lunch etc and possibly more people would come along knowing that they could bring their littl'uns, which with hindsight is probably a better idea. You can tell that I no longer have wee folk to worry about - what a selfish b88tard I am So we're now going to have to relist preferences for 19th or 26th ok.
  9. Well hello to you tooooooooo................said in my finest Leslie Phillips voice Catch you soon.
  10. Sorry, working tonight otherwise I'd have been along. Can't make Notcutts next week either as its my week off from tomorrow morning, back in next Friday night ! Probably have to catch up with you at the February meet unless there's anything on in between.
  11. Sorry guys, not this one . . . .on nights that weekend - have one for me though, but don't leave the bill behind the bar
  12. Think the ol'bill must have fallen out of the sky straight behind us on to the M25 last night . . . . . one minute there was nothing behind us, the next minute they were hauling Ian over . . . . . whats that saying about pigs don't fly Given that they wouldn't have been following us long enough to have taken any reading I hope you didn't get much more than a seriously bo**ocking Ian ?
  13. Is it still 6.15 at the Wharf?
  14. Dean, I see you'll be there as long as the weathers nice . . . . . .that car of yours not waterproof then? I'm now standing well back awaiting a suitable response See you Saturday m8
  15. . . . . yo and Ian be right cheeky b**stards and if I could only catch you up I'd tell you that to your face See you Saturday at the Wharf
  16. Very impressed with your map Ian - seems plenty of opportunity for me to get lost from the moment we leave Tescos and head back TOWARDS London Are you sure that you didn't incorporate that circuit in there just to lose me? If after travelling westbound for about an hour I've not seen any beach or amusements I'll know that I should have followed you guys in the other direction lol ! Going over to Elites for the tyres on Friday morning - opted for the Toyos.
  17. See you at the Wharf. . . . .hopefully have some new tyres by then
  18. . . . .nice glow in the dark trainers - how much whiter could they be?
  19. Cheeky b**tard. . . . . . .my new year resolution "try and keep up!" . Happy New Year to you Ian and all the other Kent Scoobies Yes, I know its only just gone 6 o'clock and I'm at work all ready - none of those bendy bus things clogging up the streets. . . . .wait till they go double decker and get the stabilisers fitted on the sides they'll take up even more room Least they won't get lost though
  20. Yes I know that we've already had listings for Christmas but this ones for those of us at work been here since 0630 and off at 1830 ; back again for more of the same tomorrow . Still where would we be without your jolly ambulance service - dealing with domestics, drunks and the usual round of carving knife injuries / falling off new bikes blah blah blah Remember.........be careful out there!
  21. Suppose I'll have to count myself in as a usual suspect. . . . . .especially as I'm always creeping along behind everyone else At least you'll hear me now l
