Don't know what you're driving but I had to replace a bulb in the sidelight on my 2000 classic - the one with rectangular lamps-and from memory there weren't any screws - the corner unit just pushed in / out. Must confess that it was a real pain in the butt as I really wanted to get a screwdriver to it and prise it in / out but you can't for fear of breaking the lens or scratching the paintwork. No doubt Deano666 will pick up on the thread and let you have a proper answer

Morning Dean - agree with the 1030 / 11 start - this would give us time for a bit of a drive before stopping for eats - Smiles seems up for a proper bit of sunday lunch and I dare say I could probably manage a bite to eat myself. I'm also conscious of the fact that the littl'uns are going to want to eat before it gets too late. It would possibly also give anyone interested time to pop along to Gatwick - they could always catch up later. Don't know how these things usually run but perhaps we need to give it a couple of weeks and then we'll have a better idea of numbers then look to book lunch somewhere - better than going on the off chance especially for a sunday lunch, or is this being a bit too optomistic.

Thanks Smiles for upping our thread - that sounds a bit uncomfortable doesn't it lol As you can see from a couple of the latest postings East Sussex Scoobies are having a day out at the Gatwick Subaru dealership and there's been interest in going along en route - as they say 'watch this space' for updates! Looks like we're now settling on the 19th. See you and any other Essex crew on the day.

Just had email back from Krud - yes that really is his nickname - the East Sussex Scoobies secretary. Seems they have a day already organised at the Gatwick Subaru dealership so looks as if its just the usual faces and anyone coming along from Essex

There was mention of perhaps stopping for a proper lunch en route - notice how I slipped into "la francais speak" there without even stopping for breath - so imagine we were looking at midday-ish or early afternoon. Suppose it depends on how many big'uns are bringing their scooblets along.

I was pointed in the direction of Elites , New Road , Rainham , Essex - about 5 mins out of the Dartford Tunnel which is a bonus as you get to hear your car on the way over They seem to deal with a lot of the Essex crew and I understand they have a special scooby open day coming up soon (? in March) - depends how soon you need your tyres; unfortunately I needed mine to be done. I got 4 toyos fitted for my x reg classic at £69.95 + vat which included everything. Then I got silly and bought 4 new rims, had the geometry done............but it looks and rides sooooooo much better now
