  1. I have a set in 18" on my P1. Came on the car when I got it. I originally thought they were crappy budgets but have done a bit digging on the web and they have good reviews. A lot of BMW guys in particular seem to be using them. I have never found them wanting on my car but obviously I haven't tried anything else yet!
  2. Car looks great in the sprint pics. I prefer the sti 6 spoiler but I dont suppose you changed it for looks!
  3. Yes spoilt for choice. Played Kingsbarns myself- great course. Didn't shoot anywhere near a 75 though. That's good golf round there!
  4. LOL cheers folks. I stayed there from 1999 till 2003. Played a lot of golf and drank a lot. Happy days
  5. hehe cheers Phil- did you study there?
  6. Superb that'll be the business when it's done. Yes it's def in good hands. You'll need to change your sig tho ;-)
  7. Excellent. What spec are you going for?
  8. Jon- there must be another up there. First time I've had mine up plus if if saw you I'd give you a wave hehe Dan- how's your P1 coming along? Did you get silver wheels for it? Frank- cheers. Hopefully bump into you at SW again if I get some time to pop along.
  9. Where are you located Jacko? If you are anywhere near Edinburgh then go to SW Motorsport. Truly first class service.
  10. Cheers guys. Yeah St Andrews is a cracking place and seems to get more than it's fair share of sun. I'll be up there for the golf next week but probably won't take the car in case somebody dings it in the overcrowded car parks
  11. Took the car on the great Fife coastal roads last weekend and ended up at St Andrews. The Old Course was shut in preperation for the Open Championship next week so I did the honourable thing and took the chance to take some pics Hope you like.
  12. Well done on making the team and wish you all the best for the weekend. Looks like you have some top support in Steve, Barry, Frank and the rest
  13. Bigfelly- yes Alcon is the brand. 2/4/6 pot relates to the number of pistons per caliper and effectively how powerful they are. The more the better. I would like the prodrive/alcon 4 pot kit just cause it's the only option my P1 is missing
  14. Spaceman- yep you are right. The P1s were 4 pots and had prodrive on them. They cost more than these ones! Good buy for somebody
  15. Are these the ones that were optional extra for the P1?
  16. Small world eh! I just recognised the mud flaps and fact it is a 55 plate. I remember it being a very nice car, had about 25000 miles back then. I was seriously tempted but it just wasn't the right time for me. Enjoy it!
  17. Yep that's more like it. Now could they make it a bit lighter?
  18. Looks very very nice Scotty. Well done. Don't suppose it's registration mark ends in UYE? If so a friend of mine took it as a trade in a couple of years ago and I nearly bought it
  19. Sorry to hear this fiasco is still ongoing bigfelly. Personally (although I know you should be due more) I would just take the purchase price and warranty money back now and just be done with them. That way you can put this behind you and get on with the search to find a good one. Im certain you, and a legal representative, will have to fight them tooth and nail to get them to refund anything above that and it might take a long long time. Best speak to CAB on Monday and decide what you are willing to do. Good luck
  20. Bugger - was thinking about heading up to KH yesterday (to watch not drive!) but decided against it. Would have liked to have seen your car out there. Don't suppose you took any vids did you?
  21. Lovely. Well done
  22. Hmmmm wonder if they'd sell me the simtek?!
  23. Well done guys. Looked like a great day out. Fantastic photos too. Neil - the pic of the 3 door Cosworth is totally jaw dropping. I have recently bought my g/f a Canon 450d, think I may need to bump into you at Knockhill one day for some tips
