Thanks guys - was planning sgrounging old alloys for practicing - Ive been getting a bit of spray lessons from an old panel beater on my old lady in the garage but he had no idea about the baking paint side of things !

Is there any Spray painters/ wheel refurbishers on here that I can pick their brains ? Ive got a spot type sand blasting gun and spray guns because I,m working on an old classic (non scooby ) I,d like to try a little alloy wheel refurbs - not rebuilds just repaint - and want to build a heated box to bake the paint onto the wheel In my normal job I,m a refrigeration and air conditioning engineer and have access to insulated panels for constructing the box Question is - what sort of temperture am I aiming for and for how long would I need to "bake" them for ??? Hello from the heart of whisky country - I,m a total newbie to the forum and to Subarus Just bought a 55 plated WRX STi with the Prodrive Pack (305 bhp ?) which I collect this thursday night Already had a look around here and confused myself with the models - hawkeye - bugeye ???? I,ll get used to it and will hopefully get a chance to pick you guys brains over tech stuff Will stick a photo up when I collect it !
