  1. Cheers m8 Yep my FTO is the one with the CF bonnet It's going to a new owner in the next few days.... That's the wagon I was looking at too - not keen on the red WRX they have in tho.....and the silver one on the A89 is at the golf driving range - just up from the garden centre. I have done a LOT of reading up on the scoobs since b4 Xmas when I first considered selling the car but just want a knowledgeable type to check out any potential purchase...
  2. Hi, I am looking at a Scoob for sale in the local area (You may have seen it on the A89 parked up on the grass at the driving range) Here is the description.... 1997 SUBARU Impreza 2L Turbo, R reg. 80000 miles, Brand new engine - done 8k miles, FSH , s/s exhaust, HKS turbo- timer, quick-shift gear kit, dump valve, dawes device , elec sunroof, Cat 1 alarm & immobiliser, K&N Cone filter. It drives great and the guy who owns it bought it for a bit of fun but has only done 200 miles since last MOT and seems pretty genuine (he drives BRISCA Formula 2 cars at Cowdenbeath) - just wondered if any of you could take a look at it for me so I don't buy a lemon! I think my FTO is now sold (pending money coming thru) and I am quite keen on this car - unless you guys know anyone selling around here. Also looked at the R plate Impreza Wagon at Braidwood (Livingston - next to Reg Vardy) which has 2k worth of engine work from Nobles - also a good price - but dunno if there is any problems with it either....I am scared to buy as I have not much car knowledge and certainly know nothing about turbos! TIA
  3. A nice UK Green N reg 2.0 Sport went thru the auctions in Livi the other night for 1200....looked in pretty good nick...highish miles tho...
  4. I always make that one flash - and then look in my mirror to see all the people passing it brake even more If you are driving towards Broxburn it's fine if it flashes....
  5. 1 2 3 4 5 Just saw these 2 cars parked at the entrance to the Ind. Est I work in!! Stopped to say hi and get some pics and turned out they were doing a photoshoot for a guy who is starting a new business. I went to my office then decided to go back and give them a few business cards They were now doing the actual shoot and the Viper's engine was running Wow...what a noise It's a Euro import but the guy had a plate that said Iowa on it... The noble was Icecelle Blue colour and very nice too...had a plate which effectively read A Noble.... They asked if I was here for the shoot lol - I said I didn't think my car was in the same class and they said it would look good! Told them I am used to people asking if they can take a pic of my car so would he mind? He was cool about it....lucky bloke. Oh, the Noble was driven by a woman....and the Viper guy was asking questions about it so it must have been hers.... Got some pics but I am not at home atm...will post them later Only got 4 I think as the battery went flat!! lol Got one with my car in it tho....
  6. Congrats to the both of you m8, my wee girl Grace is just over 6 months old and it's a joy to have her
  7. Get all your licenses then do the Capri Rally in Special Conditions section (they are not all Gravel/Snow) then you win those 2 races and you get a toyota rally car - worth 265k!! sell it and buy lots of cars and mods! do it again and buy some more cars Then enter all the diff series races - I have the Driving Force Pro wheel and it's amazing with it - first time rounf the ring in my Stage 3 turbo FTO (of course lol) was totally riveting....can't imagine what it must be like driving that track for real! One of the FTOOC mebers goes every year, I can see why now!
  8. Are you on here? Just wanted to say you are an undertaking twat (on a greenway too) who almost caused me to crash with my 5mth old baby in the car cos you had to let me know how fast your car was.....grow up. On Glasgow road just past Edinburgh Zoo just about 6.20pm

  12. We use a printers in Falkirk - I may have been thru there dropping stuff off? One of the guys there has a 03 plate Scoob (UK300 or something?) AFAIK there is not another like mine in Scotland - in saying that a m8 of mine has one with an Evo engine conversion but it's been off the road for 8 months His is also white with same Project F CF bonnet - only 100 made and only 3 in UK, all in Scotland! AND - he has 2!! One on his red turbo GPX and the other on his Evo one...
  13. Just a wee flyby taken on our day out on Sunday in the Trossachs in Scotland. A week after the guys from Type R Scotland did pretty much the same thing! www.fto-evolution.co.uk/ftovids/ftodrivefebo5.wmv Thanks to MarkFTO for filming it....not that he had much trouble catching up with us in his Turbo GPX!

  21. Auto Image (Edin and Glasgow) do a pretty good job - Edin one did mine and it was 25 a wheel....may be more now but they looked good afterwards. Also my neighbour does Flying Colours franchise and he does scrapes/scrath repairs etc...does all McKays cars too (you should see them when they come off the boats!) He does mobile wheel repair/refurbs too....may be a Flying Colours guy nearer you tho....they all do 'homers' too
  22. I got a good quote from Warwick Davies - filled in on their site then they emailed me back...import was only a tenner more than UK model (Scooby Wagon)! Iassume the wagons are also higher BHP than equiv. UK ones?
