  1. Well done. I think everyone should remove their chav valves. They sound a bit tbh.
  2. Let us know if you find one.
  3. Looking good []
  4. The man from Prodrive told me 33F 31R was the perfect pressures. I had 18"s on a P1 with 225/35/18 tyres (correct tyre size for 18's on a classic btw)
  5. Yep there are quite a few 51 reg P1s. I think mainly because nobody wanted to buy them. [] £32000 for a Subaru GTF.
  6. Get their details up. I work in EK so would like to know who to avoid.
  7. Back in the days of the classics if you were to go for the optional 18" wheels, they would come with 225/35/18 tyres. Well that's the tyres the put on P1s if they had 18s, so I assume it was the same for all classic scoobs.
  8. Looking at that monstrosity makes me feel a bit queasy. Time to go and put my name down for an Evo X me thinks.[]
  9. Just had a quick go myself. Managed a 5 mins 57.071 secs Your right about being on the ragged edge, I was all over the place. Gave up after my first go as it's always the best one for me.
  10. I'll be honest, I've been really tempted by those 20 grand spec D's that have been up for sale recently. But I bought the Golf new in Sept and would loose a fortune if traded it in. You know what car dealers are like.[]
  11. It's on days like this I'm really missing my P1. Sun shining. With the scoob I would go and drive it just for the fun of it. Now I've got the Golf the only time I drive is to get to work.[] Biggest mistake ever.
  12. 33F 31R is what the man from Prodrive told me to run my 18s at when I had my P1. If it was good enough for them then it's good enough for me.
  13. Seems like a good price. Wish I hadn't bought that golf in September.[] Now that I come to think of it, how much will you give me for a 56 reg Golf Gti with 2500 miles on it. []
  14. They all came with trackers, but you have to subscribe yearly if you want them active.
  15. Hopefully come February I should be coming into about 6 grand (depending on shareprices) Having gotten rid of my P1 in Sept I'm really missing scoobiness. So I was thinking about buying a real Impreza (classic shape STI RA) Do you think I could pick one up for about £6.5k ?
  16. What about the APS kits, are they any good? Having said that I think they use K+N filters with their cold air intake kits.
  17. Far too expensive. I got rid of my P1 in September. Got £12.5k trade in for it, which I thought was reasonable. It was a May 2001 car also, and had less miles than that one. Having said that if I was getting another Impreza it would be a 2-door. Best looking scoobs ever, these new fangled ones are just plain ugly.
  18. I used to live in Carmyle when I was younger. I used to know a guy called Davie Mathews who was a few years younger than me, I'm 30. Hope it wasn't him. Sad day.
  19. Absolutely stunning. What a lovely motor.

    no time!

Does that mean that classics without a clock don't have a bright switch either? I miss my bright switch, really was the best thing about my P1.
  21. Mate, I've got 2 goodyear eagle f1 gsd3's 225/35/18. Brand new still with the stickers on them. If your interested drop me a PM. Hepy.
  22. I kept my pressure at 33F 31R. I was told by Mike Wood (prodrive) that this is the correct pressures, so that was good enough for me.
  23. Just watched it. Good stuff.
  24. I don't have it anymore, but I bought my P1 because I think the 2 door Imprezas look the best, and it was only 21 grand. I couldn't afford a new one, so had to wait a year and a half for a price drop. £32000 for a scoob is a bit much.
