  1. No - but if I was him, I know what I'd be feeling - unfortunately the expletive blocker would stop it! [] Brian []
  2. Welcome []
  3. Happy Birthday Stephen - fortunately I can remember being 25 a LOT better than Gus... I can see how you feel though Gus - I don't really remember my 3rd birthday very well. [] Brian []
  4. Paul on the ball [] Brian []
  5. All the best to you both - ideal candidates for the job! Brian []
  6. Have you read Andy F's article in the Scooby Magazine - TD04 Hybrid for me [] I have an STI panel filter at the moment. Samco hoses may be an option - need to get my gearbox fixed before I go mad on mods in a couple of months (and cash of course). Brian []
  7. Not yet I don't my good man - any spare cash going about in 9 days? [] PM me a price - are you binning the underscoop rubber bit with it? [] Brian []
  8. I have used Julie's mum's steam claener (a "Polti") on the interiors of my cars in the past - it was pretty good (but keep it away from leather bits for too long). Works a treat without any risk from chemical cleaners. Brian []
  9. Cheers for that Russell (and Cal too) [] I had noticed this with my 3" back box and centre at present, but I had intended on going down the TD04 Hybrid (Andy F) route anyway after I get the exhaust built. Maybe I should just start picking up bits of 2.5" stuff - mmmm - just looking to get above the 300 mark, but figures mean nothing really to me. Had thought of: 3" system (with sports cat) + ported OE headers TD04 Hybrid (Andy F) [sTI intercooler and under bonnet bit] ECUTek remap (Andy F) Any opinions anyone? Brian []
  10. Hi Ricey, What was you feature like in F&M then? Seen it on the website just there - may need to buy the mag to see the silver beast! Brian []
  11. My Exhaust system is being rebuilt and replaced in its entirety in July by C&C Custom Stainless Exhausts in Hillington. This is a 3" system with a sports cat after the downpipe. Superb build quality - surely as good as any off the shelf manufacturer, but built on your car. Meercat is also a superb option - buy custom built for less than shop price. (This will be my third system they have built for the car []) Brian []
  12. Pity I don't get to do much gawping - just being gawped at!! Brian []
  13. I'd come along but will be stranded at the SECC Wedding Fayre all weekend [] Brian []
  14. Good idea - I look forward to my food poisoning!! [] Need to get Matt (zlv) along to do some cooking! Brian []
  15. Thanks Andy [] I can fit the STI gear surround with a clear conscience as I have nothing else specifically STI fitted to my car - lowly WRX and proud [] Brian []
  16. Well said Chris, Kinda like how things used to be here, with much smaller numbers mind you - it still is in some ways. Brian []
  17. That has to be THE most annoying thing to listen to for a long time! Brian []
  18. ALRIGHT!!!! Maybe I'll put it in the Impreza. I'll see - [] Just washed the car, used the Meguairs "Hot Wheels" and their wheel brush to clean some long-lived crap off the wheels (almost). AND NOW IT'S POURING DOWN!! Brian []
  19. Got an alu knob for it but don't like it as much, less grip, not comfortable in my hand and clicks off my wedding ring constantly. Got it in the Primera...may put the standard knob back in. Mmmmm, not sure. Brian []
  20. Fitted an STI gear surround today I got from STI_Bandit. Had to use STI surround (it is drilled and routed for it), remove gear gaiter and gearknob from the WRX, take it from the frame it is glued to and re-glue to the STI frame, before bolting back into the surround. A bit footery but looks much better - breaks up the dash a bit. Phone photo's in the garage - sorry. Brian []
  21. Hi Dougie, I am sure its' a Scott Lowe Splitter and on a Blobeye WRX. Brian []
  22. Eeeek! Don't wangt to hear stories like this after fitting my splitter [] Hope you get it fixed ok. Brian []
  23. When you're driving the M3, the quality build, performance, looks and everyhing else will make you forget you RB5, no worries I am sure. Brian []
  24. My Scott Lowe flaps suffer from the same - crappy looking corrosion of the brackets and bolts. Does not clean up well. Brian []
  25. Welcome Kloon [] Brian []
