  1. Hello all, Anyone care to join me in here - taking a break from the over heated discussion on Scooby Net about the Scotland section, and to get away from weeks of outages in the service. All getting a bit silly. Hello to anyone who is here. See a few you at the Dastek Rolling Road day tomorrow. Brian
  2. Just back from me travels round Sussex area etc etc!!! Craig - you're a star - hope you get the car you are looking for by Christmas mate. It was worth the 400 mile drive down and good to see your car in the flesh, although I am sure the new one will be a beast!!!! Well organised, worth the pass price totally and cannot be faulted. Send me some pics of your new car or the photoshopped one if you like?!?! Brian - Scottish bloke with the 2003 WRX.
  3. Morning, Not bad at all here is bonny Central Scotland, Brian
  4. Everyone, Please look out for us - we will be arriving circa midnight (ie 1AM) and setting up our tent then after a long drive. Please give us a shout if you see us parking so we can camp near you guys?!? Cheers, Brian.

  6. All we need to do now are get the good folk from Scoobynet to join up and come over here and leave all the McD's specials to Scoobynet to post: "I've £4000 to spend on a tricked up Scooby. I need one with four wheel drive, a spoiler and a dump valve. What can I get for my money. Cheers, Chavboy". Brian
  7. Hi All, Travelling down from Central Scotland with the wife (arriving Friday after 1AM - and setting up the tent!!!!). Camping Friday and Saturday night (as close to stand as possible). Would anyone like to publish a list of those who will be on the stand and what their user names are - that was we can put names to user names and cars to user names etc. If not I'll start below: 1. WRXMANIA - Brian (and Julie) - Scotland - 2003 Silver WRX 4 Door - Both days - Camping Friday and Saturday Cheers all - just copy, paste and begin!! Brian
  8. Drove an EVO VII the other night, R.R. (standard car) and made 299BHP. Mega driving car, smoother than I expected, but no Scooby soundtrack. Quick - wants to keep going - can only imagine an MR 430?!?! Many folk seem to "chip" the Cupra R's up to circa 275 BHP - crazy through the front wheels - is the Focus RS not similar - I know people who owned them and sold (one to buy a Scoob) because of terrible torque steer etc?!? Driving other cars, especially 2 Wheel Drive is good to remind us of what we have and are complacent about. Brian.
  9. Scoobynet STI Panel Filter (via Simon Lau) is finished. I just changed from a K&N which worked fine for me - and supposedly would last "forever". Brian.
  10. Hey Frenchy, everyone else etc etc, I would like to pay Phil via Paypal to save cheque nonsense etc etc. How do I do this - I have emailed Phil yesterday - just waiting on a reply. Cheers all, Brian.

  14. Hi Spooks, This may sound extremely stupid, but are all the bolts tightened or even ther - LOL Just kidding - is the turbo itself tight - I would be tempted to tighten every bolt, screw etc etc connected to anything metal, including the wings etc?!? May sound a bit dumb but it's worth a try. Maybe you should think about a car maintenance course at your local college Brian
