  1. Hi Spooks, Friday is good for me - two meets in one week and the IAM AGM on the 2nd - busy week!!! Friday 4th. Can't make Saturday as you will know Brian
  2. I will Davie - I can just imagine!!!!! Forgive me if I ever pass up on that pleasure Brian
  3. What about buying a lovely SECS data unit to fill the gap or a controller for some Defi gauges?!?!? Autoleads also have a box which goes under it and has slots in the side for putting in CD's - that's what I put in mine instead of just a gap. Brian
  4. Del, The PFF7's are great looking wheels and look really good on most cars, especially WR blue ones. A New Shape STI without them just does not seem complete! Brian
  5. Just confident in their standard of work, as many people are. Anyway, don't know what you mean Oh, and their mates of mine - they will always help you out One word of advice - they hate folk bullsh*tting about cars, mates cars, 0-60 times, stupid bodykits and things they are gonna get done that they probably never will. Be genuine, down to earth and they'll not think "Thanks God we got rid of that d*ck!". You can imagine some of the folk that go in asking daft questions and talking like something out of Blazing Squad. B
  6. Superb Del, Did you remember to say to them I had recommended you/SIDC etc??? They will do you a superb job and it will sound the business - they both really know their stuff and Campbell is a great neat builder. Them being so busy shows how in demand they are. Remember to post up some completed pics. Brian
  7. Good but this one - I am sure it is a nice driving car. Clicky'd the pics. Brian Picture 1 Mondeo 24V Picture 2 Mondeo 24V Picture 3 Mondeo 24V
  8. Well done, That's a nice anecdote too - just shows how overpriced the car was and how making stupid big profits, or trying to, leads to losses in the long run Sometimes What you buying when its gone? Brian
  9. What on earth is that supposed to be
  10. Welcome Andy, We're all in here now Brian
  11. Recirculating Dump Valve is what is fitted as standard. The standard opinion is that VTA (vent to atmosphere) offer no more than a nice sound but some people have experienced rough running/jerkiness on/off boost, and a variety of other fuelling issues. No experience of this as I have never fitted one to mine - just know of all the people who have ditched theirs and the number of ads you see for 2 week old DV's That may be due to people getting annoyed with the sound - STI-04!! Stephen loved his though. Brian
  12. Absolutely NO COMPETITION. It has to be C&C Custom Stainless in Hillngton, Glasgow - 2 minutes off the M8. They are the business, will do you a great exhaust at a very good price, offer unquestioning backup and offer a lifetime guarantee on all work. They will build you exactly what you want, exactly what volume you want etc in best materials, custom made on your car, not just for it. Every part is hand made. Don't buy off the shelf. C&C Custom Stainless Exhausts in Hillington Mercat in Kilbirnie is another option - do a simlar setup to C&C. 0141 882 8811 Make sure you tell them Brian sent you Brian
  13. Looks a nice car but no doubt has had a fair bit of track action. It is MUCH busier in here than on Sc**bynet. The front 3 pages of Scoobynet Scotland are 3 and a half months old - the front three in here are two weeks old. Still seem to be a few folk posting on Scoobynet who are a bit bitter. None of that in here at all. Welcome, Brian
  14. I have an oil temperature gauge beside my boost gauge. That is really useful as it lets you know when the car is properly warm (long after the thermostat needle has reached normal) and also lets you see when/if it's overheating, such as in standing traffic. I have attached a semi-rubbish quality photo of my gauges (as installed by the Central RO Jamie) taken whilst in standing traffic on the M8 in the snow Tuesday morning. Oh and one of the snow at my house on Tuesday morning. Brian
  15. Yeah got it today. They don't usually mention weather but they must be expecting some heavy winds or storms...
  16. What? I am not replying to things for the sake of it - this is not Scoobynet. Your assumption is wrong.
  17. Hello, Was it you - I was in the silver Blobeye in front/behind you before you left the bypass for the services Brian ;
  18. << Meant to say , its an honour that Del, Jamie and myself have been asked to be RO's for our respective area's. If there's anything that we can do to help any scoob owners, irrespective of SIDC status( we will convert em soon enough ) please feel free to contact any of us. We have a few great RO's in Derek ( caz) and Dougs and Club Secretary in John to look up to. Any ideas as to what you want to happen in your area ............ get in touch. Spooks >> How about free servicing, free car inspections for those buying a new or used car, free fitting of new modified parts, oh yeah... and free Optimax too Sorry - thought they were the perks of the RO job there - whoops
  19. Did you ever go back Dave? How is the new car and are you gonna sell the T-Sport? Brian
