Was gonna add that BUT is a bit contentious...

Avoid the biggest, most well known parcel delivery force who are royally incompetent - I have used them MANY times and in the 7 different written letters of complaint on seperate occasions and one to trading standards about their service I have never, not once received a reply. I used them 22 times last year and they failed to uplift at the correct time always and most of the time did not uplift at all when booked - most of the time I had to take the item to the depot ("we couldn't find the address", "he is having his tea", "he is just coming now" (at 6:30 PM - yeah right), "There was a problem with the van", etc. 50% of the time the stuff arrived to me or the destination late for timed deliveries and they are SEVERELY overpriced when it comes to insurance and charges for non-VAT registered customers (ie the ordinary user). I have claimed back the delivery charge several times and on a few occasions they have "supended insurance guarantees due to adverse weather". All in my personal opinion - these are not the views of SIDC, its elected members, staff or other forum users. Ask Grant aka TheSquirrel555 what the situation is - he works forDHL. Brian

Weigh a WRX one? I have been told by my local fitter that, although heavy, the WRX wheels are lighter than the STI ones, which he described as "bl**dy heavy" (technical description ). Brian

Start a thread here and offer them for say £200 and they should easily sell - I'd buy them but as I say I've just bought some and I am skint, or I'd have some more Brian

If they have at least 5mm of tread the tyres MUST have been replaced I would imagine. What are you expecting for them? Brian

Andy, I've just bought a spare set of 4 with two new tyres, two part worn (Bridgestone Potenzas). Very minor marks but otherwise good. How much did the dealer offer you for them and how much would you sell them for. How many miles have the wheels/tyres done? Brian

Following strictly the steering principles, speed limitations, etc of Roadcraft will be something many people will find difficult in a car which is quick, rewards spirited driving, often on the wrong side of the national speed limit and has a certain expected stereotypical, aggressive way of driving - which is often opposite to defensive driving systems. My main suggestion I suppose is that Advanced Driving (from Roadcraft) techniques are more important in a car like the Impreza because it needs more respect, particularly in terms of speed limits and defensive driving techniques - most people are relatively aggressive when driving them, not always to other drivers but "attack" the roads more often, rally style - I suppose However, the way you drive may may not really be that different from one car to another - it's the driver who speeds, causes accidents and drives aggressively, not the car. Do you think it is possible to apply advanced driving principles fully in an Impreza? Dubious one that - I think in general yes but Imprezas and total adherence to the System of Advanced Driving don't always sit too well together Just waiting for my car badges to get 'em on the car. Thanks for all the tips lads. I will try some of the more unusual ones - I will avid Wonder Wheels on a first attempt and try with the old soap and water job first. The Dash Wipes Cal - remember them - terrible for the dash (looked American after I had finished) but I used them on my tyres, bumpers etc - great for that - I think I'll get some again. Brian
