Volks- My old type R came with these OZ Wheels, which i also think was a standard fitment as I have seen them on quite a few classic STI's- or these?!- Col.

The newage will feel like a bus after a quick classic. One reason why I left the subaru scene, classics were getting a bit long in the tooth and newages are just too cumbersome unless you throw thousands at them. Flame suit on

The first event of the season is usually pretty quiet so you should get plenty track time. I will be there taking pics although thats my first weekend onshore so will prob be on the beer the night before so my plans will prob change!

Its a bit bent where boot lock is too, tried pulling bumper out but no go.

Its not my car..luckily, although it used to be! friend that owns it now doesnt have a clue about scoobs really. Was just doing some investigating of my own. Will have another word with him and see if hes sourced any bits himself.

When ever it came on boost it sounded terrible, even on its first lap out. The guy must have been a bit deaf as it got louder and smokier every lap before it went pop!

I got pulled in Inverness over 2 years ago in my old Wagon, the cops told me I was allowed up to 92db. It read 99db with their tester, i got a £40 fine. I paid the fine then after a bit of research I found out nearly all the local boy racers had also been caught and had contested the cops findings resulting in the courts not proceeding with any legal action. At the time there was no law about how loud your exhaust can be, I dont know if this has now changed. The ticket I got said I had 'a defective exhaust'!! The police also have to test the car in proper test conditions with no background noise etc, mine was tested beside a main road!

This was one of the main factors in me getting away from the subarus and buying something a bit more wallet friendly. Was fed up spending £100+ a week on fuel and constantly having to keep one eye on the gauge if i was out for a blast! I miss the scoobs and will probably get another eventually but at the moment my cash is better placed elsewhere

Heres a tip...watch out for the telegraph poles!! theres tons of them all round the circuit for some weird reason. I've seen the sprint set up before and its pretty tight so you should'nt be going fast enough to slide that far off track if it all goes wrong! Have fun!
