  1. you have hit it on the head Stefan, even from a dealer level putting a proven warranty on a used vehicle has become a costly exercise but this has been brought about by the increased burn rate on warranty claims, there doesnt seem to be a week goes by that we dont have an impreza sitting with its throat cut,but never have this problem with legacys or foresters partly due to them not being altered and not being driven within an inch of there lifes! at the end of the day its an insurance,'why do we bother with car insurance'in the event of an accident our car will be repaired at no cost or we will get back its market value if its written off!DO WE ALL HAVE IT,i hope so,but in reflection what a waste of money each year if you do not claim. Its not a requirement to purchase a used car warranty but it is offered for the consumers pease of mind, you dont need to buy it if you dont want it,but i've seen the bills if your engine or gearbox goes pop and this would make me wish i had a warranty. This is just my view from inside looking out. £510 an absolute bargain,if you have to use it and your bill is £3500. Gav

  10. Was that not Matt from Stirling's old car? Gav
  11. Cool Russ,we have had ours ppp'd aswell, definately feels quicker up the box, also fitted the spring kit, which when combined make it a nice B'road hooligan. Noticed that Graham Goode have there demo running 398bhp with an exhaust and ecutek remap, now that would be interesting!!!! Gav
  12. I'm sure that this would encourage me to buy a car, knowing that every test drive in this car was conducted in the same manner 'powerslide round a roundabout'. I can also recall a salesman for t&c in perth 'showing a customer what it can do' and wiping out the customer, not big and not clever, and certainly not the image that subaru would like to portray. This is my own personal view but i wouldn't buy a car knowing that every test drive the car has been out on,it has been treated in this manner.?this could also happen when my car is in for a service aswell!?NOT GOOD as i say my own view Gav
  13. Please feel free to pop into the showroom, unfortunately i'm going off on holiday this weekend, but feel free to come in,ask for Dave or Adam. there are some amazing deals at the moment so i'm sure we can sort you out with a good deal Gav

FFSake i wished you good luck with the map! he's not my man,he's a m8 with a amazingly quick cossy which i have the greatest respect for! why cant everyone just post without trying to take the pi$$ Gav
  19. Why dont you have another read of the thread, get your facts right and try not to be a wideboy, then perhaps i wont get upset.Did i mention anything about your car or your driving,I CANT SEE THE NAME GUMBALL IN MY POST ABOUT MAUREEN!Just because my mates are slagging you off,it is very clear that i wasn't! its very clear though that you are aloud to slag people off on here but clearly you cannot take the banter back......so sad really.....when you come on here and slag me off, then yes,i feel agrieved! didnt claim to have 400bhp or a quick car,but one thing i do know,THE FALKIRK COSSY WOULD RUN OVER THE TOP OF YOU. NO WIN NO WIN SITUATION! Gav[|-)]
  20. Brian does this go for thanking people aswell,as this was the intention of the original thread until the usual culprits had to go and spoil it? Gav[:^)]
