  1. It is a Scott Lowe one. Not the easiest thing to photograph given the colour of the car but:
  2. Get a prodrive gear knob on there too Brian. MUCH nicer looking and a far better feel than the standard WRX one. Except when it's a really cold morning.
  3. Not tooooooo bad I hope.
  4. I'd asked Scott about this about a year ago. Asking if some hammerite might be an idea, but he didn't recommend it.
  5. Do I need to provide my own car?
  6. DAAAAAAAAAAAAMN. That cone is MASSIVE Peter. Looks tremendous too. I've got some CD2 that I'm waiting to use.
  7. Was at a house warming in Bathgate last night, driving to the house, very slowly over the third or 4th speedbump in the street when I hear CRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKK. Splitter has sustained some minor dmagage in the middle of it. Taken the black paint off and some of the fibreglass. Looks fixable as it's quite a small chunk, but I'm not sure what's best to use. I watched my cousin fix the front of his gokart with some sort of pink gloop for repairing fibreglass, so I'm thinking that would be ideal, and then just some matt black paint over the top of it. Or I might just remove the splitter, but it looks so damn good.
  8. Omegas should be banned for anyone but the police! I NEVER pass one at pace.
  9. I've been considering punting my classic road angel and just using TomTom on my PDA as my only detection. But when I drove without the road angel recently I really missed having the speed readout in such a convenient place.
  10. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8...319&q=Mario "Free running". Very impressive with the sound off, but turn the sound on and listen to the excellent sound effects added. Edited for a nonsensical use of the English language. Have to stop typing, thinking and talking to people at the same time.
  11. The ever faithful Tyre size convertor - http://www.gailmail.co.uk/tyresizer.asp
  12. LOL. How many more sleeps is it now?
  13. I think the rims on the S204 could have been better than they are. A bit "heavy" in the middle.
  14. Not seen a 204 spoiler. The 203 one, which I really loved, was something stupid like £1K for an original one.
  15. Hoho. Yes. 2004 car! I cannae remember what day it is half the time, never mind what the year is.
  16. 22K on a December 05 car. I must be AFF MA NUT!
  17. Damn. Didn't know Kanye was playing. I never keep up with gigs anymore. Second album wasn't as good as the first, but still really good.
  18. Baz, your problem is you're trying to link an image on your hard drive. You'll have to upload it to somewhere like photobucket so we can all see it.
  19. Excellent. I think I know why they're not showing up. Or at least I have the vaguest of ideas. Obviously it's standard google mapping, so you can zoom, pan, look for places with dirty/funny names. All the usual.
  20. Right - www.st3ph3n.com/burnsmap Only 3 points on it so far, but you all get the jist of what I meant now. I'm working on making the data come out of a database that someone can update easily if required. The blue lines don't need to join up to the red markers, I've just used the same points as an example. Oh, if the blue lines don't come up refresh the page using control-f5. I'll work out why it's not always drawing them tonight. If people can report back if they see them first time, and what browser they're using PLEASE. You're my testers.
  21. I couldn't get a word in the rhymes with chore and starts with a W. Nor could I get the local equivalent in that starts with an H and sounds like who er.
  22. 1) More than 5 vias 2) No way to save the route for people to click on without breaking copyright, so they'd have to type it all in themselves. 3) No way to include hyperlinks for each handover point to threads/pages with info about whats going on Trust me boab. I'm a neeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrddddddddddddd.
  23. I've never noticed the noise I must say. I do get a whilstling noise when backing off under light load, but that's the SSQV openning slightly rather than the full whack for heavy boost applications. The tyres - the more I use them the more I feel there's probalby better ones out there. My 05 has picked up a squeak/rattle from the back in the last few weeks. Only rears itself after maybe 20 miles of driving. Can't work out what it is though. I thought suspension related, but the car handling is absolutely spot on where it should be.
  24. You've pasted the whole thing in now. But that's not what's needed. I spoke to Wilky about this before and didn't think I could help, but I think I can now after some recent faffing about I did. What he wants is the route we're using, not the quickest way, with big signs on it saying where the handovers are. He said he'd also like a link from those to perhaps a forum thread with information about what's going on at that meeting point or how that region is raising their money. Something like Frappr where our members map is was my first thought, but it has no routing functions. What I'm proposing is to use google maps like Frappr does (it's a free api at the moment) with custom content overlayed ontop of it based on data we provide. This is how Frappr achieves what it achieves, and I think I know how to do it.
  25. Doesnae work Boab! The AA passes its arguments discretely rather than in the address string, so when we click that link we get nothing. Multimap and mapquest have no via functions from what I remember. We also have to go by their routing rather than define our own. I wasn't aware the AA had via though. Well worth knowing mate. Another thought - I could maybe generate the list of Pushpins for handovers as a Points of Interest file for use in your favourite sat nav applications. Good for those travelling the route.
