  2. Not sure on the exact type of clips but they seem to be pretty good. Got a bit fed up while tightening them so went to buy a 10mm ratchet spanner but they`d sold out lol
  3. I know, its a bit close lol Might see if i can move it slightly
  4. Ok, I`ve been fitting my FMIC today Seems to take a fair while to do lol Took everything off first: Then I trial fitted my 22b bumper that I still haven`t prepped lol Fitted the FMIC: Got myself a new Induction kit so fitted that too: Then I found some old heating duct in my grandad`s workshop so I claimed that as a cold air feed
  5. happy birthday mate
  6. not a bad price for what looks like some pretty good quality work mate. Not to my taste at all but each to their own
  7. http://s25.photobucket.com/albums/c79/1tin...%20Zug/?start=0 this should link you to all the pics, failing that here`s a couple to give you an idea of what it was like
  8. All being well I`m catching the boat at 530 tomorrow evening (wednesday). Got a nice little run this time but won`t be back till around the 21st/22nd. Will try and get a few pics while I`m on my travels as I`ve got to go to Toulouse first (will probably cross the big bridge at Millau-google it if you don`t know the one i`m on about). After that i`ve got to go to Zurich for a couple of days so hopefully won`t get snowed in, although I won`t be happy if there`s no snow lol Have fun while I`m gone
  9. fair do`s mate, good luck with it all regardless
  10. good luck mate, Don`t hang around with your hgv licence Can do a week long course that will enable you to drive an artic. Think it normally costs around £1500 or so. just get your theory and medical sorted first
  11. lol go on Steve, you know you want it lol
  12. cheers Lou I didn`t think it had
  13. ok then get sp to do it
  14. undo the clock surround screws then pull the clocks out, pull the cable off and plug into coverter, plug copnverter into clocks, screw back together even you should be able to do it in 10 minutes
  15. no mate, I had to get a new one as the speedo wasn`t working, sure it was that much and just goes on the back of the clocks so even you should be able to do it
  16. think the converter was something like £100
  17. thats what I thought lol. I`d have thought Ben had it removed though. The speedo had a converter on it so its probably been done
  18. don`t know mate but I think so, I`ve only personally seen 110 so can`t be too sure as it wouldn`t have quite come in by then
  19. ben fitted one a while ago
  20. i need to bed the clutch in Ed, believe me, nearly stalled it as I pulled out of the garage from picking it up lol
  21. There should be a nice musty smell in that wallet by now
  22. yeah, at least I managed to catch up with you all at least once this year Was having fun trying to bed the clutch in a bit the other day Launched with antilag on and span the wheels
  23. It should be over some time early next year. Possibly in time for performance action day ;)the new clutch is still a bit sharp at the moment but its starting to bed in now I would think it`ll look a fair bit different by the time you all see it in person again though Did you see my most recent pics in the members cars thread?
  24. lol, I knew when I picked the car up from AJ`s the turbo and intercooler needed replacing so I`m working towards that. having a fuel pressure regulator fitted at the same time so 330bhp would be nice and if I can have similar torque figures then I`ll be more than happy Also had an exedy organic clutch fitted on wednesday
  25. the FMIC was £205 delivered! Couldn`t really say no at that price Got a few more things to buy for it yet Keeping an eye out for a vf34/35
