being hones, if I was in your position I would send the car back. As you say there is a lot that needs doing to it and you are still only learning to drive.
Another option, would be to sell it as is to somebody as a project for them to repair or break for spares as they so wish, I believe that this way you are more likely to recover a larger amount of your debt, although it won`t make a huge difference. Then you can continue to pay off the finance or even buy a small car for you to learn to drive in. A turbo`d scoob isn`t an ideal car to learn in anyway IMHO
