  1. Anybody got theirs yet?
  2. << I get 220miles from a full tank (£43). Does this sound about right for a Sunday driver? >> I'm with you Vicki. 200 odd miles for 40 odd pouds of Optimax. Strangely enough, the difference between having fun and being boring only makes about 25 miles of difference. Didn't know there was a light appeared! Not that brave to go that far!
  3. Don't do it Ally! It's not too late!! Only joking. All the very best to you both.
  4. PMSL Andy! Good post. Just wish somone had a camera at Markinch!!
  5. Got mine ordered. Very good idea to raise funds for a good cause.
  6. << lol at that photo NightOwl - know exactly what you mean! How did your wee lass cope with that? Giggles or tears? >> It was a case of fits of laughter and.....do it again Dad!
  7. My first run and it was great! Nice to meet everyone. The wife and bairn fair enjoyed it too. Just one photo I'll post now. The wife took it out of the window on one of the parts where there was considerably less road noise for a wee while...
  8. Bloody Hell. I can't believe that. Not a huge rally follower and only knew that his problem stopped him racing, but I thought he was getting better. Shocking news.
  9. Sorry I had to zoom off at 7.25 to sort out things at work for my disciplinary hearing later on today. Whatever the outcome, looking forward to the run on Sunday (weather permitting).
  10. I generally just use plain old water and a sponge during the week and at the weekend I use that Flash wash thing that goes onto the hose. The fancy spray you do last really does let it dry without the need to chamois. No water marks at all. This time of year you are definitely fighting a losing battle with the s***e they put on the roads that I think is one quarter salt, three quarters mud!
  11. It was flippin cold this morn. Wasn't too worried about my hands though... but I could find a use for this
  12. Can't believe I saw this thread. I was having a wee surf around yesterday morning and was looking at that very site. Great minds etc... One that isn't there that was my fave was a thing called 'Stock Car Smash Up'. Two cars that had funny cord things you pulled to get them going and when they crashed into each other the wheels, doors etc flew off. Brilliant fun. Maybe explains why I've watched the stockies at Cowdie for the past twenty years.
  13. Try doing a google for 'number plates' and there's a host of companies that make up plates. Most of them you can design the plate so you can see what it looks like and there's usually a stack of fonts, logos, borders etc to choose from.
  14. << Ullapool chippy is as good as any but for full effect a fish supper needs to be eaten at the seaside!!! >> The chippy in Ullapool is brilliant and the owner has a Jag with the reg...FRY 1N. My personal fave is the Bervie Chipper.
  15. Can't do the meets I'm afraid as I work constant nights, leaving for work at half 7.(that is if I've still got a job after my wee rollover!) Any Sunday sounds good for a run though.
  16. Very nice indeed. Immaculate.
  17. LMAO! It's having to get used to a new regime now!
  18. Went abroad for the first time in my life last year to Spain. Loved it. No holiday this year as we're saving to take the bairn to Florida in May. Personally, I'd be quite happy touring the Highlands and Islands evry year.
  19. Very nice indeed! Just gave mine a quick once over with the hose and sponge, so it should start persisting down anytime now.
  20. Sweet Dreams...Don't let the bed bugs bite...well that's what I say to the bairn anyway!
  21. Aye Aye loon! Welcome from another newbie.
  22. LOL! Never! Much much respect to T45.
  23. Big chat with the 'big boss' this afternoon, and I'm off work (with pay) until his 'investigation' is done. Seemed quite happy with my explanation of a gust of wind catching the front of the unit and the n/s front touching the verge and dragging me in. Definitely has to be the strangest phone call I've ever made when I phoned the boss, still strapped in the seat at an angle of 90 degrees. Taking the seatbelt off was fun! If only Subaru made trucks...
  24. Bankhead Roundabout.
  25. Nothing more exciting than 27 tonnes of paper pulp I'm afraid.
