Nice one Jase.....a GT35 will be good but tbh a GT30 might be better LOL
TBH when it come to turbo choose there is a big list on what you can go for.... MD T,T+ and V,SC46,s206,GT30,GT35,GT3540,GT3542....and the list goes on.
Maybe even a T04Z too
Cheers to Chris for a wee shot of the Tomcat 2 and she certainly goes really weel for the little amount of mods that you have put on.
AndyF surely can map his ECUTEK car good, runs beautifull and has bags of torque from the standard 2.5 STI setup.
I was well impressed of how lively she is and total effortless pulling herself out of corners because she spools so early ( 1 bar @ 2.6K ).
This makes it so easy to drive fast as you don't need to wringe all the revs out of the engine.Just short shift and ride the torque wave
All in all...RESULT.
Welldone Chris you now indeed have a chariot to be proud of but please get the chassis looked at so you can use more of the power more of the time
Jim i would doubt if it'll be original lines as its had a paralell conversion...but i could be wrong on this one!
Glad you got it sorted mate and a burger is enough for me
Snakeoil?
You've a very good point regards sides and bottom of the rad.
Does that mean it's for bling only with very little gain.I've noticed that on newage rad there is foam of the sides to fill in the gap in the sides.Don't know if the classic set up has that.
More pics of the cooler....i would show you the core insider the cooler but that would be letting you see something that is for my eyes only:p
The copper rad that we got made up by East End Radiator in Glasgow.
Will be mounted soon and will need some fairy dust to get it going
