Its a slippery slope. Thats two cars to buy mods for. I said I'd leave the blob standard and that didn't last a week
Very Paul but hey ho we shall see
-
Try keith michaels gus,I was blown away with them half the price of admiral for my hawkeye.
They couldn't even look at that price bud. They Wanted that for one never mind insuring two last time I checked
-
Well still looking for that elusive extra Scoob but off on my searches (to view two) today.
With the insurance on the RA due in less than a month thought I'd see what it would cost me overall for the RA and either a bug saloon or blob wagon ( what I'm going to see) and for both with all mods etc.. Came to £445!!!!!!!! Which is £60 cheaper than the RA and Suzuki puddle jumper would be at renewal!!!!!
I just don't understand the insurance industry sometimes

Gus your old enough to be my DAD..................

Anyhoo, whats your excuse for not putting your name on the Combe list for this year, delays, delays delays get on it, you know you want to
-
Gus must have stopped playing in the 60's, Matty around 68
Hmmmmm And where was your car at Castle Combe and Kames last year?......I rest my case
-
Lads FFS! It's you're all older than me!!!!
Bloody youth
It's a sad day when you have to give English lessons on here eh Matty.
........and Gordon there are older than me on here so shut it........anyhow, speaking of hard paper rounds, you take the biscuit! 29, aye stone!
-

-

Just as well it is a good few years until i am 60 lol
I thought you were in your 40s already???????? if not, some paper round
-

-
LOL! Bargain eh mate
Nearly as cheap as my beemer
Aye it is especially when you can insure 3 cars for what you used to pay for one .........and I know which one I'd rather have and it doesn't begin with BM lol
Phil, RA for Kames, that's its natural home .........will have to see what the two I have in mind are like first......thought I had bagged a hawk wagon from a neighbour but he has gone and sold it from under my nose. No happy

As some of you know I've been looking to possibly get another impreza (in addition to the RA) as a daily car. I have a couple in mind which I'm now going to see this week. So, I thought I better put the sensible head on (boring as hell I know ) and was pleasantly surprised when I got the insurance quotes back
With all the mods declared insurance for fully comp including business use and all the usual extras for a blobeye with a zero excess comes in at £220!!!!!!
Sooooo it does pay to be older ( note I said older and not maturer ) sometimes
-
Very very sad news indeed, my thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time. Life is too short!
-
I've used Viper, SFS, Samco and Merlin hoses on Subarus over the years and all have been great without any problem. Currently using Demon Motorsport ones on the RA and again working well and great quality
-
And thanks to Phil or Del for editing the last sentence ............but I agree anyway
-
From buying my first Impreza in 1997 and everything scooby related inbetween
I've had 11 scooby's since then and other marques inbetween but nothing steps up to the mark for all round driving pleasure.....had the current RA for 5 years which is a fookin miracle by my standards and have no thought of ever getting rid of it now (even though I've been VERY close to having to part company in the last couple of years )
Anyhoo, now even considering getting another scoob as a a daily driver and might be off to look at a couple this afternoon
Finally, the friends and contacts I've made whilst being in here all add to the enjoyment of Subaru ownership even to the extend of helping getting this place sorted out before it went down the Shanks (no not you Dave ) and now I've ran away
-
Hypertech in Bonnybridge near falkirk is another option for you price wise around what James has indicated and personally I'd change the tensioner whilst your at it regardless as it will be a while until that cover is removed again
-
