  1. 6 months on, 6 off - tax for six and insure for all - better to be kept inside throughout the winter it won't do it any good sitting outside - disconnect the battery - it doesn't need starting every so often and if you park it up with low fuel just brim it when you are ready to use again

:iagree: do exactly the same myself. Garaged every winter since I bought it and never had any problems. Trickle charge the battery for a few days before bringing it out of hibernation and always been fine n dandy

  2. Great AGM with a lot of positive discussion amongst the usual banter. One things for sure you couldn't be in this club if you were a sensitive individual that's for sure :D

As you will see after the positives of today's AGM and at the request of the committee, I'm going to stay on as a Moderator. Nae luck you lot :smiley-taunt014:

  3. Saw this coming years ago! overspending year on year and continually paying players etc.. late. Actually surprised it took so long for this to happen if I'm honest.

Its time ALL Scottish clubs learned to pay what they can afford to pay or make more use of their youth system to develope young talent.

My club have been there twice due to :censored: owning the club and mismanaging the finances for want of success, it doesnt work!!!!

Its time other clubs learned from these mistakes and sorted themselves out, but I fear Hearts are not the last! :brickwall:

We have a very strong youth policy and most of the first team now come up through the ranks and many have gone onto much bigger things Robert Snodgrass, Graham Dorrans, Lee Griffiths and James McPake for starters :Scottish-flag: . The biggest paid player is now on £325 a week which is more than enough to kick a ball around ;)

We struggle by but with 5 owners now running the club, including a supporters trust rep, we also make use of Supporters Trust members to do jobs that the club previously paid for including operating turnstiles, stadium maintenance etc...so no-one is spending obscene sums of money that cant be afforded.

One area I would like to see more of is reduced gate prices too, we do "specials" but if gate prices were lower I do believe more would come through the turnstiles and spend inside the ground anyway.

    Just my tuppence worth

  4. cheers for the regards tho chaps.. will still be hunting about as i havent taken the quote

Wise move bud :icon_salut: I got a quote online from them last night as mine is due on Sat, got a decent quote but there was nowhere to list any mods and their terms in the small print are along the lines that "the vehicle must not have any modifications"

Personally i'd look elsewhere bud, Ive got a few quotes for not much more and all the mods are covered. Better playing it safe, paying a bit more and getting cover :icon_salut:

  5. and mods the car is basicly all standard except the decals etc . and the roof scoop . , last time i spoke on the phone they decals didnt matter as they were just stickers and roof scoop cost me £80 to have covered .

Have you declared the above though bud? And are you still running for example a standard twin peeshooter exhaust etc.....? No being funny but god forbid you ever make a claim the insurance assessor would be through it like a rash, any excuse not to pay oot the bassas :icon_hang:

If they are quoting you that low a price it's worth ensuring its all declared (as opposed to covered) :icon_salut:

  6. I've had a reply back from the wheel and that's us all booked in but what i need is times to put forward to them!
