  1. Marky, If you can bend the front hanger through 180 degrees it will fit but tbh you are probably best to get someone to weld on a new one based on the box your removing. The other hangers are exactly the same for newage/classic. I know that the TSL group N box that I have comes with two front hangers (one classic one newage) and bolts so that you can fit on either. Gus
  2. I shall say absolutely nothing regarding the last comment ... [:#] I refrained[:#] so should you[]
  3. Dont forget my sticker then![] and have fun[Y]
  4. Cheers![Y][] but is there not room in your car for me []
  5. Yes! Only difference you would/could make is with the width of wheel and offsett to make wheels sit slightly further out but tbh I would recommend just getting it lowered if you want it sitting lower???. But gap between wheel and arch wouldnt increase or decrease with the correct profile tyres Gus
  6. Been there done that went back to the classic and dont regret it one iota! IMHO its a better built/finished car.
  7. My pleasure[]
  8. Its great being an old Fart[Y] I'm in too! [Y]
  9. Now have the cash freed up to do all the above. So, totally luving it. Planning on doing a few Hillclimbs,Sprints and Road Rallies in it this year and more next (if all goes well) used to compete in my old mini cooper but have been away from it for ten years[:'(]...............time for a return[6]
  10. replacement ECU I believe. Looking @ 300 plus. Currently running 267 of your finest horses. Gus
  11. Love it to bits mate! Not missing the newage one iota tbh! Had a classic years ago (97) and tbh was disappointed with the handling on the newage in comparison even despite getting all the suspension changed. I've always been into good project cars and this has given me a great one to get into[]. Full cage arriving for it later this week (hopefully!!!!) suspension all done, exhaust done, working my way through giving it the big service(fuel filters, oil, gearbox, diff, brake and clutch fluid timing belt, plugs etc)...... brakes and full decat remap next[Y] Gus
  12. Nope! unless I havent found the switch yet[:$] Ah well, no more Octane boost for me if thats the case. Gonna try and get it to Andy F for a wee diagnostic soon (once I've given it a full service) just to see how she is running.............and before I start the full decat/remap etc.... Cheers Gus
  13. The best thing about Eden now works in Perth[]
  14. Nice one John[Y]. Mine is going into Uncle Dunc on Friday to get the geometry done as it aint been done since the car was Whitelined up[:$] and he's doing timing belt and other bits n pieces @ the same time[]

  16. Mine has the shorter gearing. Top end speed reduced (but high enough) but getting there is oh such fun[] Canny beat a good clean 555. Best move I've ever made[Y]brilliant!
  17. Very clean looking JC. Nice find[Y]
  18. Fantastic looking machine[Y]
  19. Excellent pics again Del[Y]
  20. Iain, would deffo agree with James on this one. 35/18's on the classic. but you could probably go upto 225's. Also go for Yokohama Parada 2's or Toyo T1's for the best grip/performance. Try DPH in Bathgate too as sometimes they have "specials" on these or Jim Dickson in Cumbernauld is ALWAYS good on price. Gus
  21. Nice move Noel and at a bargain price too[Y]
