  3. Cheers, I'll need to order the silvatec bulbs for the front but I will definitely take you up on your offer at some point.
  4. Cool. I'm sure Scott said that the car was on 04. How are you enjoying it anyway ? Better than the CTR ?
  5. you would think so but you never can tell if a jobs been done right. I'll need to get 5 minutes to myself and have a look under the car. I suppose I could do it while I was changing my rear drop links on Sunday, woo hoo, report to follow. By the way Chris, I was under the impression that your car was an 04 model, am I wrong ???

  7. hello and welcome mate.
  8. i bought a front sti replica one a few weeks back for £41 including £6 postage. looks cool and makes a big difference to the front end.
  9. sure did Chris. no problems with that at all. The car went in for a service and Nobles told me I needed 3 shocks, 2 sensors and front anti roll bar bushes. i thought the car was ok too. all replaced with no mention of the springs.
  10. count me in, thinking about a drive through to Perth on Saturday to buy the rear drop links. note to self: stop modding.

  12. sounds good mate, maybe see you at Alford if I can make it up.
  13. I've not got any pics but who gives a toss what your mates think, if you want them done in gold get them done. Subaru's are the original cars to have them, it can only be good !
  14. cheers Dougster, I'll check it out. I've only had the car since april but already had 2 rear shockies and one front replaced under warranty, wuld the springs not have had to be removed by Subaru to do this ? I would hope they fitted them on again correctly, unsure though !! What do you think ?

  16. if you look at the section on Ebay about refunds and postage timescales etc I'm sure it says that if the goods are not rcvd within 10 days of payment you can get a full refund, check it out. You can also obtain the users landline from Ebay.

  20. If you need your grill painted on the cheap my dad is the foreman spray painter at Chatham Honda in Abbeyhill. He would paint your grill for you for £30-£40 (paint included) and you would get it back the same day !!! Same goes for anyone else in the Edinburgh area, no job too small !!
  21. Welcome, good to see some more new faces on the site. Join the club to show your full appreciation, you'll need to for the savings you'll make when you start modifying the RB5, I should know. Had my o4 WRX for about 8 weeks and already changed the exhaust and filter, fitted a dump valve, strut brace on the front and I've got a list of other mods, soon to come are the rear drop links. You know you want to
  22. Thanks Pete, I thought the meeting went well although I could have done without the phone calls and texts. Thanks to Scott etc for the content, very informative and good to see the club taking an interest in local charities. Glad to put some faces to names even though I'll probably forgot your names next time I see you. Already handed out 5 fliers, 1 to a guy round the corner from me that was already in the club so I've made another local mate. James.
  23. bad pun but funny all the same
  24. lucky for some !!! I always fancied getting hold of a set of standard springs to see if the noises persisted but it's too much expense and hastle getting them changed over. Just ned to put up with it I guess By the way, even just fitting the front strut brace makes the front of the car so much more tighter and reduces understeer BIG time
