Val Have you tried the simple things?? Is the fuel pump working?? Can you hear it when the ignition goes on??Could be pump relay, common. Check all the plugs going to the sensors??? Favorite one for me was air flow sensor or cam shaft sensor. Loads of checks you can do yourself before you need to call on a garage. Hope you dont mind me making this sound easy, I dont know how "hands on" you are. I'm not being cheeky

Brian, here is one way to do the reset, its said that its only for for the GC's, but it workes on mine so Im unsure where the facts come from?? NOTE: This is only applicable to MY93-00 (GCA) models. The later model MY01 (GDA) onwards require the use of a product such as the DeltaDash or similar to reset the ECU. Please see www.ecutek.com.au/delta-dash.htm for more information. ECU clear memory procedure is as follows for auto and manual transmissions: 1) With engine at operating temperature, turn engine off. 2)Locate the two ECU check connectors, for most cars they are located under the steering column and consist of a black plastic male and female connector, and a green male female connector. The exact location of the connectors varies with the different year models, but generally they are located under the steering column on the drivers side. NOTE: sometimes they are still taped over with some small amount of plastic tape, so look hard, they will be there! 3)With the ignition OFF connect black to black and green to green. Turn on ignition, do not start the engine. Depress the accelerator pedal to full throttle and hold for a few seconds, and then release. Start engine and then drive for at least one minute, keeping road speed above 7mph 4)ECU is now re-set. 5)At this point the check engine light should start to flash the all clear signal (steady 1/2 second interval flashes). If the check engine light does not flash, or indicates some other sequence, there is a fault present in the system, and should be professionally checked for necessary repairs. 6)Stop the car and turn off the engine. 7)Disconnect the plugs. 8)Ecu reset now complete. When I do it, I simply connect the green plugs together and also the two black ones. Turn the ignition on, and let the fans,, etc come on and off for 1 minute Then i start the engine and let it idle for 2 minutes Turn the engine off Dissconect the plugs and then start her up. Take the car for a run on the road and make her work, ie. long straights, get up to about 40mph and drive the car in a high gear, make it labour. I do it for a few miles and thats it done. Massive improvments normaly. No doubt there are many veiws on this , but it works for me
-
Looking good!!! Like the location of the Link display Well done. Dont know where you can get booster down your way though, you should ask the locals
-
