Cheers ozzy, Had the disc's off a few weeks ago and never noticed any crap in the grooves. Think it stems back to the time i had them on the track, so most likely warped me thinks!!

Hi john, Thanks for the reply. The discs have maybe only done about 2-3k miles. Only bought them at the end of summer last year!!. The discs were bought as a kit and are not standard brake discs, (335mm) so i am not keen on just going out and buying another set just now!!. Not sure on the come back from the supplier, but judging by the no response from an e-mail, and what i have heard from other folk, they are never too willing to replace them.

I have the classic case of brake judder. Can anyone of you good chaps recommend any good machine shops in the Glasgow-Falkirk area?. Cheers Gregg

Hi dougster, V-Tech in cumbernauld can do any mods to your Toad alarm. They are an authorised fitter for Toad. Had them fit mercury tilt switches to mine, excellent service and very friendly. Gregg

Looking to get my A.P clutch and lightened flywheel fitted after christmas. Wandering what garages you guys use around the Glasgow area, that could do this. Preferably not a dealer because of their prices!!. Cheers Gregg

Sounds like your disc are F*%Ked!!. Sometimes it can be dirt stuck between the pads and the discs. Clean your brakes with some brake cleaner, failing that, your disc's will be warped. Got the same problem with mine just now. Nightmare Balancing is done on the wheels themselves and is done with the wheels off the car. This alows the wheels to spin without any wabble (equal weight distribution) this usually causes a vibration through the steering wheel, mainly noticable at medium to high speeds, depending on how badly they are ballanced. I think most garages use static balancing. Tracking is the allignment your wheels make when on your car. There is alot to tracking a car and this is a specialist job. Bad tracking will cause your tyres to wear unevenly and possibly cause your car to pull heavily to one side of the road. In simple terms!! Hope that helps Gregg
