  12. << am actually trying to find one but is not easy to get them as they are on the opposite side on a wrc motor. >> Im a dab hand with a grinder, large hammer and fiber glass if you like??
  13. << Highly amusing Ian but dare I ask why was her head in your lap anyway >> It was fear!! She couldnt bare to look due to his driving!!!
  14. I know !!! LOL
  15. << Now that sounds interesting...... Anymore details? >> Just wait a few weeks and get a look at Andys. Hes probably bought one for the Justy...make it a bit louder
  16. Shogun's , whether Diesel or petrol are greedy on juice. Fairly reliable though. Parts aint the cheapest but the reliability area compensates for that. Stay away from Discoverys and landrovers. They cost a fortune to run and repair. They chew shocks, bushes, steering boxes, cylinder heads...the list goes on. I would put my money on the likes of a RAV 4. Its cheap to buy and run. They are very reliable and are good off road. They drive like a car (compared to the shoguns and troopers) and are good on petrol If you want to go and look at some one weekend then gimme a shout if Im home and we can go hunting for a Farmer wagon
  17. More to the point.....what was she doing out of the Kitchen?? Cue the angry girls
  18. Ian, The fact you never lifted the throttle and the brakes were smoking might have given it away
  19. This can be done without a ramp if you have a good trolley jack and an axle stand. Jack one side right up. Use a point on the subframeand it will jack the whle side of the car off the ground allowing access for fattys like me Let me know how you get on. Juts remember that its safety first!! USE AXLE STANDS AND TELL THE WIFE TO CHECK ON YOU EVERY 5 MINUTES
  20. LOL ..."car ready for winter". Well yes and no Paddy On inspection today I found that she needs the front brakes done, the window is cracked and there is a problem with the suspension on the rear. Also went to seal up the headers and found that the up pipe gasket is blown between there and the manifolds so I had to stick the std ones back on for this week. burble burble Oh...and she need four new 235x30x19 tyres ...apart from that shes good to go << By the way, how's the new job going? >> Jobs going fine thanks Just as well.....need all the cash to keep this pesky car running over and out
  21. A big thanks to the guys at AWD for getting me out of a hole again Just realised that the car was due an oil change and I had no filter or oil in the garage Nipped into Perth and got the goods, changed the oil and now shes good for another few 1000K Stocked up on my Millers boost when I was in too Canny beat a value for money weekend. Oil changed and stocked up for another couple of months, all for under 60 green backs Off to seal my leaking headers now Pesky things!! Been blowing all week and they are doing my nut in!! Back in a bit
