I was on third party as my cars old and I had to build up my no claims(family insurance until I was 30!). His full cover was cheaper than the best third party quote I got!I'm smilling right now I'm so happy.........full comp and some modding tokens still left over ;-) FANTASTIC.......when I called to cancel with Tesco's they tried to keep me by giving me a DIFFERENT(cheaper) renewal price........still nowhere near!

What turbo is on my MY94 JDM STi wagon?I assumed that it was a TD04,but now seems to be a TD05.A bit of research shows the WRX wagons of that age with TD04's.But I also seemed to find others saying that the WRX wagon has the TD04 & the STi wagon has the TD05. Does anyone know if thats right.........?

I've been sick all week,I went out to stock up on soup and other "I'm not well" type stuff.I discovered some nasty person has used my car to wipe cr@p on...........I'm presuming of the dog veriety,although I'm no expert. So off I go to the jet wash to sort this out,sort out my "I'm not well food" and slink back to bed feeling sorry for myself. Couple hours later my buzzer goes,my neighbour has "spotted something interesting",so as I'm always up for something new I go out to investigate.He must be eagle eyed as he spotted nails stuck under my new toyos'!! I can't help think that someone doesn't like me or my scoob........! Luckly no damage done,10/10 for my neighbours diligence........

It would be really good if the Police instead chased down the tosser who's stuck nails under my tyres,so as to mince my new toyo's as I drove off. My neighbor just spotted this 2 mins ago,he recons it was the joiners working on a nearby shop. I'M GOING TO RETURN THEIR NAILS TO THEM...........I MAY ALSO BRING MY HAMMER TO DEMONSTRATE WHAT NAILS ARE FOR.............if you get my drift!

I would say that better pads without disks = wearing out of disks rapidly or warped disks after about a week. For me I'd braid the lines first.Then disks,pads,calipers etc.

I'm in Leith,so wouldn't mind giving u a hand,but I'm totally useless at these things.On saying that I have these fitted to my STi wagon ( I still have loads of wind noise),but I guess u could compair how mines are attached etc. Anyways,I'd be of very little help,but offering to help if u can't find someone a little more car savy than me.

Phoned a few places in Edinburgh today,seems optimax is back on the menu.Dalry has it and the others said they were being restocked between 9-10pm tonight! Cold turkey over,I'm off to get my fix!

Great day,some nice cars.I enjoyed having a quick blast in the WhiteLine car,very nice indeed.What a difference a good set of brakes make.......thats another thing added to the to do list.I've some good pics too from the afternoon,but I'm off to bed ...........post some Sunday. CHEERS AWD

Yes ,but us Sti Import owners are a bit knakered.No Optimax any where from Dunkeld to Edinburgh tonight.None anywhere and I'm pretty much running on empty.Shell are crap!!!!!!!
