  1. Red scooby bought at Mackay trading by any chance? The plates are similar to loads of their cars I see buzzing about Edinburgh.
  2. As you can see,the one on the left is missing the white plastic seal.
  3. It's a white circular plastic seal that sits in the cap stopping any leakages. It's part of the cap,but this time when I removed the cap it stayed on the bottle, when I poured it in I noticed it,but it was too late by then. When I got home I opened another bottle, the white plastic seal was inside the cap,but with a small wiggle with my fingers I managed to remove it.It's like opening a screw top milk carton,u unscrew the cap, then have to remove the white strip.Same thing ,but on the millers the white bit sits in the cap and isn't attached to the bottle..........if that makes any sense.
  4. thats what I was hoping............. ANYONE USING MILLERS BOOSTER BE CAREFUL AND NOT DO THE SAME.
  5. i just filled up with my usual optimax & millers octane booster. But,I think the wee plastic seal on the millers between the cap and bottle also went into the petrol tank! Its like a small round piece of plastic. I'm presuming thats what a fuel filter is for,but I'm worried! So any guidance on what to do gratefully recieved. Cheers in advance.
  6. lol.........nice pic ally. Weather report is dry for this, although the micro climate of Knockhill might disagree.
  7. Cheers for sorting out my brakes, all working now:-) Best of luck Andy for getting the car ready for Andy F's maping magic.I probably ain't going to make the open day,but I'll see u all soon enough for sorting my zorst for MOT time in the near future. Day off Paddy? Anyways, cheers all,top job as per usual.
  8. Yea,I might take a poodle along too, then again,I might take a goat..... Anyways,if the weathers OK I might try make this myself.
  9. Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Scoob there was a minor rift. But as JC the wise man said"all 4 of the guys mentioned in this thread I've met and all 4 are really sound guys !". So the wise King suggested we should all have a East vs West kart day at Raceland in the summer, where we all meet, chill, chat, race, have a laugh and remember why we bought a Scoob.Winners get to buy ice creams(insert beer where applicable) for the loosers,so that no one looses, thus peace and harmony is restored to the Kingdom of Scoob once more. And they all lived happily ever after, THE END
  10. I think the TV Times ment a Mazda against Mazda,....shame !
  11. ''The motoring magazine show returns for its ninth series. Jason Plato helps a jackpot lottery winner choose a supercar. Tiff gives the first TV verdict on the Jaguar XK after test-driving it in South Africa. Plus Tom Ford's Geneva Motorshow video diary; Vicki Butler-Henderson tests two Subarus head-to-head; and Jon Bentley tries out a revolutionary new car hire scheme. ''
  12. Quiet day with a blue sky, looks like u got some decent times in too......good pics and video. Cheers
  13. QUESTION "Is it just me or does Scottish Scoobies seem just a home for a select few to express there opinions/ personal fan clubs?" ANSWER,it's just you mate as far as I can see, possibly mixed with time of year and winter blues. The only possible reason for a public posting rather than u dealing with this privately is that u want to stir things up? I'm not a friend of any of the people u mentioned, also I've never even been to the garages u mention, although I have found Gumball very helpful in the past and spoken to him on the phone, but we'd not recognise each other in the street.Likewise,I don't know you Coulster,so I'm expressing my own view from a neutral position. I see no point in your thread what so ever! However, like Switzerland I'm not going to throw my handbag out the window everytime I see a GOAT!
  14. Nearly did,I needed to get back on the road as I'm self emp.My rims were unsafe to use and I was in too much of a hurry to wait. I must say Chris was most helpful and I'd have bought them time permitting. His wheels are still 4sale in the 4sale section ...........take a look if u need a good set of wheels!!
  15. The cheapest way is to sell your STI clear lights, fit standard UK Turbo ones & leave with cash in pocket;-) But most people prefer the clear STi ones............ There's a few ways of doing this,u can also fit an extra fog light on the rear,or put red film over one of the reverse lights and rewire(i passed 2 mot's like this?). So there's three ways of doing it,the choice is yours. (ps if in doubt call AWD and they'll sort u out for minimum amouts of wallet fodder)
  16. Cheers Col,I'm not sure how to make them clicky yet.
  17. First time posting pics......so I hope this works. Here's my new wheels after my old ones gave up the ghost.I quite like them.......17" Rota Tarmac 2's in Toyo's. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h110/MY94/100_0602.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h110/MY94/100_0599.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h110/MY94/100_0598.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h110/MY94/ec64de95.jpg
