  2. Yep, i confirm that this works a treat. I have thrown 2 CEL's in the last few months though - both being EGT. Do you think I should get another resistor?
  3. Nice one El Shandero, glad to hear you opted to pop in the VF35. Looks like the Jones will be aiming to keep up with you[] Did you fit the injectors? Looking forward to seeing the black beast - are you down this weekend?

  10. No my good man, ive done this operation and dont have the updated power figs but its negligible
  11. I have first hand experience of the point Cal is making, whilst 280 BHP in a Subaru may seem mediocre these days by far the biggest advantage in having a quick car is the driver him/her self. Do I think Cal is a stig = would not know, do I think im a stig = no. I have had the opportunity to have been in the pax seat in may car whist been driven by an ex rally driver and through a section of B roads and I can say that the road was covered at approx 35% quicker than I could ever manage. So, before going for an extra 4.238 BHP at £200 I think ill concentrate on driving. Peter, I like your car, I like the brakes, I like the power. The delivery is good throughout the rev range although you only seemd to use 5-7.5k revs[]
  12. Cal, get the springs and Whitline ALK and im sure that will put you at ease (for a while), Im sometimes not too happy with things and want more power etc but after a we play tonight....65, change 95, change ... still 2 more to go im quite happy
  13. Cal, I share your thoughts and have swithered over the whole issue for a while now: 1) Should I go old school for a thoroughbred? 2) What about new age? To be fair, id end up spending loads of cash on an old school to get tit the way I want it and I'd mod another new age anyway so ive decided to be satisifed with what i have and save in case anything breaks!
  14. Easy.................................................leave them alone, itl end up looking like a whores handbag Save the cash for ported headers[]
  15. El Shandero Do you commute via a car ? yes Do you take your Scooby ? yes How many miles do you commute to work ? 5 miles How long does it take you ? 15 mins Do you ever take a long way home ? Aye I have company car also which is strictly for business and NOT for private use at all[][]

  17. Thanks guys, I'll probably go for braided hoses too but I wasnt sure if my existing 'banjos' would fit the new callipers - I understand they dont however. Discs have already been drilled for 100pcd[]
  18. Peeps, I have brembo callipers and 330mm discs to go on my 02 WRX. Does anyone know if my exisitng calliper mounting bolts will do the trick? And how about the brake lines - do I need any special fixings as the callipers didnt come with any? AND finally, if I was to buy goodridge hoses which ones would I require? Cheers
  19. Ladies, yes I have one of these i.e the one STi bandit has a link of. Cal, try Mark, I think Joanne had it before me! Cheap at half the price
  20. Russell, Stop the nonsense, that was a fine job you did all these months ago now, and theres loads of others before and after me so go open the doors, find me some brakes and let me know when its done. Ta Ta
