Yes thank you to everyone who made the effort to come across to Stirling last night. Cheers to Peter and gang for looking at my lights......just need to find a handy spark now to do the job, Brian can you mail me that guys name in Springkerse..... Had a good laugh at a few of the stories being passed round.....and got all my rallying vids back from Squirrel..............and even got home in time for Desperate Housewives.... Gus, Will let you know how my Aston Martin visit goes next week......might try to sneak Vantage out under my shirt collar.......just for you buddy....[] Thanks again folks.... []

I'll check in the morning Frazer for other replies....failing that if its just the two of us...people would talk...so I'll probably let Jamie re arrange for when he is back....[] I guess its just annoying....I wonder what the response would have been if one of the chosen few had have arranged the meet..... anyway who cares!!........it will be the last one I try to organise anyway....[]

Guys... Do you want to cancel the meet tom night.....I did try but with only 4 takers left theres not much point.. Please let me know your thoughts...Im still happy to go, but I know for Gus its a bit of a trek....... Guess I'll leave it to Jamie in the future eh......[]

Hi folks As you know I had been on the hunt for a set of sti lights to replace the left hand drive (dont ask) prodrive ones fitted to my wrx. As you will also have read was hoping to have these fitted last week before I went on the Circuit of Ireland. Well to cut a long story short it didnt happen....[:'(] Basically whoever installed the prodrive lights to replace the bugeye originals cut of all the plugs from the wiring loom and soldered the wires straight to the prodrive pods....I need to be able to identify which plugs I need to complete this wiring task. Does anyone know a good auto electrician in the Central belt or can anyone carry out the task of wiring plugs and fitting these lights for me...will to pay the going rate........ Help please Im really fed up...these lights are the bain of my life....and after spending mega dosh on an original sti set I just want them fitted. I can bring them along to the Central meet tom night if required for any willing candidates to have a look at.[]

thanks for that mate....was really panicking that i had wasted a couple of hundred quid.... just need to get them fitted now before i go home for the circuit of ireland rally next weekend....yee haaaa thanks again..will let you know how the fitting goes..... cheers Paul

Oh no Phil I've just spent £250 on these lights....the prodrive ones I that came with the car are flippin left hand drive pods.....I thought I could just take these off and slot the sti ones in....so can i not use them at all....or is it a case of figuring out the wiring.....im not interested in motorised levelling or anything...I just need light...im off to the Circuit of Ireland rally on Thurs and need to see...... HELP[*-)]

Right folks..... I finally got a set of sti lights for the car after a long search......I have arranged for the local garage to fit these along with my brake pads. Question??? Do you need to remove the bumper to fit sti lamp pods to a bugeye....currently have a dodgy set of prodrive lights fitted...are they just a straight swap over?? []

Yes believe it or not I managed to pick up a genuine original sti set from a guy on the "other site".....am expecting delivery on Mon....got them for £250 so not bad considering how much they are new......[] Thanks for the thought though.........did i see your motor in some posh gaff on Causeway head road....[] cheers bud

Police are pretty sure I wont see the car again....as it seemed quite organised with the other ones being lifted as well. To be honest with it being a company car I wasnt that attached to it, Im more upset about the little personal things i had in like things my daughter made me at nursery etc...... ah well better go and start filling out insurance forms.... cheers guys
