  1. Don't you just hate this new page crap that happens on here.....
  2. Cheers dude. Can't believe I got it done so cheap but then it was a mates style job.
  3. What on earth gives you that idea Grant? Dunno about Jimmy but it's my fave film! PS - check out my lovely new washer tank I've just had custom made...... Yum yum!
  4. Evening dudes!
  5. Not sure to be honest Andy. I've still got a nice air rifle but it never really gets used these days. Sure if you get in touch with any of the gun clubs they'd be able to 'aim' you in the right direction though.
  6. Think the one at windy corner is actually the rifle club dudes. The Peveril pistol club always used to be beneath the market in Douglas. I used to go there sometimes but never took it up properly. Besides, my license is only for regulated weapons not Firearms as such so it's shotties & airguns only for me.

  9. Dirty
  10. Yes there is that I suppose. And the fact I intend to be very careful with them because once they're painted they'll really suit the car.
  11. Does powder coating have to be done on bare metal or can it be done over existing coats & stick well? Hmmm, could get my brother to anodise them but he hasn't got containers big enough and it'd cost rather a lot I suspect! Not sure who to ask really but will be at least a few weeks yet. Maybe I should just get some cans of Holts so I can patch it up when I inevitably kerb them!
  12. Just saw you going along by the Gaiety while I was walking home too Grant - sounds/looks very nice mate.
  13. The colour on the WR1 wheels is nice but too close to the actual colour of the car itself I think so it needs to be darker. Second ones are nice! Never know though as the gold might even grow on me yet....
  14. Bit early to say really so far as I've only driven through half of Douglas. I'm expecting if anything they will handle a bit better and probably tramline less because they are much closer to the correct offset. Quite pleased with them so I'll have to sort someone out to paint them in the near future.
  15. Well the wheels are on now and even with the wider tyres - 225 instead of 215 - they sit further inside the arches so catch less (ie hardly at all!). Shows how wrong the offset on the old ones must have been!! Only place where there was a clearance problem it seems was the rear spring cups where the tyre just touched it lightly, but operation lump hammer has cured that minor issue. Very pleased - thanks for those Grant.
  16. Oh go on then. You win! Cheers Grant.
  17. Cool Will give you a buzz tomorrow to come & have a look at them. Just realised I think I've left my bloody trolley jack down south again too.
  18. Ha ha! No worries - I'll try later or tomorrow then.
  19. Are you about Grant? Just tried ringing you but no answer mate.
  20. Possibly a tiny bit tipsy....
  21. Happy new year dudes!
  22. Like these? STi wheels
  23. Yes it's anthracite or gunmetal that I'd want them to get painted really. Can I just double check these are the ones with 5 pairs of spokes on each wheel? The 'pairs' of spokes flare outwards a bit from each other? Have a you got a number I can give you a buzz on Grant? Cheers Jim
  24. Hmmm, may be interested as I could get those and get them repainted dark colour as the dark ones are my fave I must admit. Any idea what you want for them dude? I know the STi ones are half an inch wider but think they should still be ok for clearance. Feel free to PM me with an idea of what you're after or give me a buzz on 463787 if you like. One of the guys on my forum is potentially picking up a set from the south of England to bring up to the Graylaw depot in Skem on the 3rd so would need really to have a look before then so I can let him know. Cheers! Jim
  25. Fed of my totally kerbed and badly arch catching wheels so with Christmas money it's time for a change. Can't decide which of these to go for though - any suggestions? All roughly similar price although gold ones include tyres (not really fussed about that though). Dark Gold Grey Cheers!
