  1. shouldn't be rocket science for any decent garage that's got a ramp. Can be done without but pretty much means taking the engine out. With a ramp they can simply drop the gearbox down. Gearbox is easy to undo from the engine etc, just make sure if they aren't familiar with 'pull' clutches like scoobs have that they know how to properly get the clutch into position once it's in.
  2. How do you buggers get away with gorging on so much rubbish food & remaining skinny?! Spawny gets! The surgery is up the grenaby road from the shop in ballabeg. Joel, if you PM me your email address I'll send you a map with the exact spot on it. Nick, Jimmy, will send it to you guys too. Can get me on 463787 if you need to clarify exactly where.
  3. Yeah, morning Rasher dude!
  4. Of course! Although someone may have to do a run into McDonalds & back seeing as we'll be out of Douglas before even McDonalds open!!
  5. Drill and bits already down there. Angle grinder & welder are also there ready for the JD Baracus conversion we discussed as well Jon. Have you got those armoured metal sheets ready mate? Got new 1/4 inch socket set and have most sizes in 1/2 drive as well except I think for 22mm. Remind me to bring soldering iron & solder! All sounds good apart from the 8am start thing. B*stard!!! Joel - where are you heading down from mate? You can either follow us down or if you come down later we can give you directions to the secretive hillside scoob surgery!
  6. Swede! And den?
  7. Foolish not to mention potentially extremely dangerous! Legacy drivers are a more refined breed.
  8. "We have the technology to rebuild him!"...... So what spec is this one going to be then dude?!
  9. Yeah but I mean making sure it's connected properly now we know the secret! I'm sure Neil will be supplying the refreshments this time seeing as it's his engine we're doing this time rather than mine....
  10. A good way of getting familiar with your motor. Adn finding out funny quirky things about them that make all the difference in future (like clutches!!)
  11. 'Man-snacks'?!
  12. No! Who in god's name gave you a real .22?!
  13. Yeah, I run the club dude - been airsofting about 12/13 years now! Don't actually get down to skirmish all that often these days though as I've so many things on to share my time with. Must sort out that hosting business some point this week. Am waiting for all the details from Joe, who's sorting that side of things out for me. No eye injuries yet and long may it stay that way (I think people have got the message now on account of me going ballistic if I catch anyone taking their masks off during a game!). Tis good fun though - you're welcome to come down & have a bash some time if you like. Doesn't cost you anything except a few quid for ammo. Just let me know if you feel like it.
  14. Bah! Sorry dudes, as mentioned on engine in/out/in/out thread I'm busy doing a barby at our skirmish site on Sunday. I will be getting a bit of shooting done, but people, not clays! "I ain't got time to bleed" That's me in the middle btw.
  15. So it's gonna be your turn cooking the bacon butties this weekend during 'Operation Boxer' then?
  16. Right, the facilities have been secured for the weekend again.
  17. Will ask the old dear today mate. Stay tuned. Crane might still be there too.....
  18. You know you have my services to help out mate. After you and Neil helped me with mine it's the least I can do to paypack the favour a bit. I'll be free all day on Saturday but I'm afraid I can't offer to help on Sunday sorry as I'm running a barbeque for my skirmish club and I can't really drop out of it seeing as I'm the club president. I'm pretty good with a soldering iron too if you're not 100% keen on doing it Jon. I'll be glad to be able to return the favour a bit.
  19. << Sheesh, even Jim and his amazing elastic legs made it up there! >> Missing it wasn't an option where there were cheeseburgers. Hot diggety though, those bloody legs of mine have got me taking a days holiday today because I can still barely walk. Doh! Thanks Richard for the grub grilling facilities too!
  20. Cheers mate. Where were you though? Have a feeling you might have been driving off towards Ballasalla just as I was getting down* near yours. *And I don't mean 'gettin down'!
  21. Cheers Dave. Just went past you heading towards peel actually but was in my mum's peewee little 106. I'm hopefully still going up North tomorrow, but if anyone takes the piss out of my John Wayne style walking there'll be trouble! I won't be able to catch them but I'll bide my time......
  22. Bloody hell I'm knackered!! 7 hours 59 minutes and 50 something seconds to do the 32.5 miles to peel!! My feet are a mess but I'm glad I did it.
  23. Dudes - group Scoobyhug!
  24. £%&@ off!!
  25. A$$ wiggling? Didn't realise you'd been watching me quite that closely! I might have to run when I get near chez Boxer!
