Morning dudes! Brrr! I'm soaked & frozen after doing my CBT bike stuff this morning! Good stuff though, after 2 hours training the instructor reckons I only really need a couple more for my test next month!! Do you think anyone'd mind if I did a thread in the general section for the new UK Legacy Forums I've set up? Not trying to poach anyone from here but I don't think there are any uk forums for the legacy at the moment so I thought I'd start one!!

<< When are you back Jon dude? Just found a place in NI that sells quality Helmet Cameras! Will have one ready for TT 2005! Mad Sunday Special! Sweeeeeeet!! >> Dude, have you got a link? I quite fancy one of these for when I get my test done next month and can get out to play on the tracks again! Fingers crossed that I pass of course....
-
Cheers for the links dude! Have managed to score a set of these from an Aussie fella on the RSLiberty forum (source for nearly all my info for my uncommon chariot). Only thing is I'll have to wait a month or so but hopefully will be worth it as all of them down under recommend this mod to solve hesitation problems etc. Lambda is cheap! Reckon I'll order one on friday when I get paid!

<< Jim dude, the lego was down S.C.P at hills meadow, and he said that the new pump gen/ subaru one. >> Fair dues dude. At least it's sorted now! Think I'm going to be looking at a shopping list of the following bits though to really make sure mine's sorted: MAF O2 sensor Ignition Relay Plugs Bosch HEC-716 coils (if I can get them anywhere!) Dread to think what this little lot will come to but I'm tired of pissing about.

Cheers for the tips dudes! The finger of suspicion has mainly been pointing at the MAF as it did this a while ago, I cleaned it and the problem went away for several weeks. It's back now but whilst it's less frequent it's more severe when it does do it, plus cleaning the MAF has not helped this time. That's one reason why I think it could well be this mysterious ignition relay, another being that when it cuts out you can hear a relay clicking in the dash. Occasionally it cuts in & out several times a second and you can hear this relay clicking on & off like crazy. Not sure if the impreza has it possibly but I've heard many people citing this relay as the cause for a lot of probs similar to what the MAF causes. Be nice the replace all 3 bits but I suspect they ain't cheap..... Oh well, I know what I'll be asking for for me 30th then.

<< Morning dudes, Jim the legacy is working again, it was the fuel pump that had gone..£355.pounds ouch!!! >> £355?! Did you get a diamond encrusted one fitted dude?!! That sounds pretty harsh being as you can get an uprated walbro one for less than a hundred quid and they only take an hour or so to change! Who was it that swapped it mate? I suppose genuine manufacturer parts tend to cost more but that sounds an awful lot. Need to find out real soon why mine is cutting out & stalling & not starting. It's either MAF or Ignition relay I'm sure but the ECU shows no error codes when I check the diagnostic connectors on it, and the only stored codes are 33 & 51 which are funny ones. NOT sweet - it conked out as I pulled out into the middle of busy Peel Road yesterday. << Margys birthday this weekend, Taking her away, and it just happens to be only 110 miles from the Stelvio pass!!!! >> Good stuff! Hope you have a sweet time dude!
-
Short week? Not sweet. Monday morning and I'm full of a cold.
-
Glad to hear it mate!
-
I can understand that maybe happening on the streets of douglas (where my arngie got keyed and my suzuki had a mirror kicked off) by pissed up scally kids but in the airport car park REALLY takes the piss. Bad luck mate.
-
Sorry to hear that Richard - I'm sure everyone would agree you've done a sterling job of it though!
-
Well one of the wheels came off the boat trailer driving it down from ramsey so I don't fancy chancing losing another one!!
-
If mine can manage to run continually for a hour or so without continually cutting out & stalling then I'll try to join in too!
-
I can hear rain but it's a long time before I want to even contemplate getting up and actually finding out. Uuurgh!
-
And CHEESEBURGERS!
-
Sweet! Cheers dude! Will email you to sort out what you want for them etc. Andi - why the today dude?
-
<< Not sweet dude Got a full set of WRX suspension somewhere with lowering springs on dude. Are promised to Nick first though MAF might just be 15 year old knackered now mate...... Or the relay entirely possible. Or the chip..... >> Might have to just bite the bullet and get a relay and a MAF from somewhere. Maybe give Grade A a buzz. I think the ignition relay is buried high up in the dash, just under the screen somewhere. Think it'll be a whore to get to. Won't be the chip, I'm certain of that. Defo interested in those struts if Nick doesn't want them. I'm sick of my constantly bouncing coilovers despite trying three different sets of springs on them. Not sweet. Andi - getting new boat tomorrow! Super sweeeeeet!

<< << Sup Andi dude? Couldn't you sleep? Morning yawn >> Iam up at 6.15 every morning , To take the dog for a walk, and i wake everybody up in my street with the Legacy So when Iam up everyone sould be up... ..See you later dudes.. >> 6.15? Aaiieee!! And I thought I was bad when I wake up my street after coming home from the Mrs' at 7.30 in the morning. Saying that, I rather think mine wakes up a few streets nearby, especially when it sets a car alarm off as it does from time to time. The old knacker has started that cutting out nonsense again though now, and the CEL flashed on briefly the other day. Not so sure it's the MAF even though it's doing the same as last time. I've heard talk of the ignition relay causing this problem (rev counter neddle dropping, cutting out, backfiring like crazy etc) and I can hear a relay clicking on & off when it happens so I'm wondering if that's it? Bah. Anyone know where I can get cheap suspension too? Dudes - not sweet!

Looks real nice I must admit although I couldn't help thinking the bonnet isn't a great fit. Looks like it was fitted by the PG Tips chimps!
-
Rough dude! (I know you didn't mean me) Off up to ramsey to test drive new boat now. Yarrrr!
-
Thank Crunchie dude! Could go either way yet though..... Depends on whether my bank are going to turn out to be "merchant bankers" or not yet..... PS- the thank Crunchie bit was to Friday, not your comments Jon! Sure you'll have a better weekend once the Tart is there!!
-
Another fine example of why no matter how much my workmates pester me to come and play for them I'm not going to. One of em came in yesterday with 6 stitches in his bottom lip after cleaving it open down to the gum in a game at the weekend. Mmmm! Me too please! Get well soon anyway Steve
-
Bummer! Get well soon mate! Won't ask how you managed that!
-
Grrrr! Track them down and then use a shotblasting machine on random panels on their car whilst they sleep.....
-
Not a single one. Was really rubbish although it might not have helped that one of my pals kept being sick over the side!!
