Bah! Totally not sweet dudes. Car is overheating like the clappers and p1ssing water out somewhere when it gets up to temperature. Got a fegging puncture too at the same time! I love the way these things kick you in the wallet whilst you're in the process of buying goodies and parts to sort them out! Not sure where the water is coming from yet but the stinking thing must have sprung a leak. Don't think the thermostat has failed because the top rad pipe gets hot ok. Just hoping the rad hasn't got a hole of burst an end tank. What a complete bummer.

Dude! You've said exactly what I was going to suggest - get an older scoob that's been well looked after but isn't under warrantee. That way you won't have to worry about breaking the terms of the warrantee but can still have a nice scoob in good nick that you can get fixed/serviced locally as & when required.

Theory test done (let me know if you want the training CD I've got Richard - it's MOST useful!), and CBT done a couple of weeks ago. Instructor thinks I should only need 2 or 3 hours of lessons before my test on the 22nd (my 30th!!!). Fingers crossed dudes........

Chickening out today may not have been a bad idea. A lot of people didn't like the course as it was today. Only 3 weeks until my test then hopefully I'll be able to get out and play on mine & think about joining in up there myself. Maybe....

Heh heh! No, although I went for a test run in the new one last night. Lovely rough sea and she coped with it easily! Quite pleased as I managed to get 29 mph out of her even in the rough conditions (although I think my 2 'shipmates' weren't enjoying the run quite as much as me! :confused.

I was planning on getting a scabby old GSXR of one size or another and building myself a nice streetfighter as they've always really appealed to me but I'll wait until I know what happens speed limit wise. I've got a road registered 1998 YZ250 so I've got a road bike ready to use straight away, just need to fit a lighting coil, stand, speedo etc to it. Not the most practical road bike ever but hella fun on the tracks. May take up motocross too.
