could be loose car jack,rear seat mountings rattle to?? anti-roll bar mountings?? broken section inside exhaust silencer??

Hi Fraser The fault I mentioned was the LH rear suspension strut failure on STi 7&8's. There is a mod out for these,I think it consists of a new strut & top mount. Quite a few people have had this fault occur on more than one occasion,but new mod should rectify this failure. My own car's suspension strut failed in march last year before the latest mod was out & I think it is knocking again!!!! Will need to get it back in to dealers..........................AGAINNN Cheers, Del

Could be lots of things,stone(foreign object) stuck in between caliper/disc,worn pads....down to metal or wear strip squealing....eeeeeeeek!!! wheel bearings collapsed???? Just a few suggestions,hope this helps you Gordon Del

It starts in Inverness,there will be 8 stages. Full stage route should be out on 10th feb. Stages in the black isle to the north of inverness & south through the great glen are used normally. Hope this helps Del
