  3. Here we go again Knockhill - trackdays, motorfair, rally superspecial Crail Doune Kames Alford - Scottish National Any other events that members can think of wanting to use their tent/marquee at,after all the club should cater for all members & their choice of motoring events, whether it be hot hatch, drag racing, drifting, rallying or F1. Too many folks slagging off the younger motorists with their hot hatches, not everybody started out with a Subaru & YES it will require funding from sponsors/advertisers.............so what???? ......nothing ventured ,nothing gained!!!!! Del
  4. John S. What we really need is our own Scottish Scoobies Tent One slightly smaller than the SIDC marquee which would make it cheaper to buy, easier to errect & transport. This idea has the backing of upstairs See ya, Del

  20. << I wonder if Del would have turned me away if had actually turned up in the second option avaliable to me last night. A bright yellow HONDA JAZZ SE Sport!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >> I wouldn't have had any problem Dougster, nowt to do with me!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....being a democratic forum this allows you to wear what you want ,drive what you want, you pay your membership...so that's all that really matters.........the rest is just friendly humour & banter Del
  21. Big YES PLEASE response on these folks would be appreciated,Andy & Malky have done an excellent job on the name badges/lanyards The whole idea being to "break the ice" at meetings & events for newbies & shy members. In the past,at meets/events,there seems to have been a barrier with the personal aproach & unless you had a Subaru jacket/t-shirt/cap etc on then nobody knew who was who & with what club Imagine hypothetically turning up to Knockhill for your first meet & all you can see is a monkey wearing a Yawnda Type R jacket ..............you're certainly not going to know that the monkey is in fact a member of the SIDC. ..........but if the monkey had a name badge on then you might just say hello my name is................ ......then again you'd probably get put in a straightjacket & whisked away to the loonybin for talking to the monkey in the first place But seriously folks this is a great idea,PLEASE SUPPORT IT Del
  22. Hi Grant, Soz to hear about your little indiscretion with the scenery Glad to see you're ok,you seem quite calm about the situation See ya tomorrow night, Del
