  5. I've just fitted 4 new t1-s 215/40/17 and at first they didnt seem any better than the bridgestones they replaced, but now they have been scrubbed in the car feels very sure footed in the wet or dry

Ye i know what you mean m8 My cost for parts and labour in the last 2 months was: 4 pot calipers £250, mintex 1155 pads £100, front discs £150, fluid £30, pad retaing pins and anti rattle clips £70(@subaru), whiteline front & rear alloy links £125, whiteline a/r/b £100, 4 toyo proxis £308, magnex downpipe & up pipe & heat wrap £450, walbro 255 fuel pump £125, oil & filter change £70, total spend £1778. it mounts up And i'm still hoping to get front and rear strut braces, whiteline anti lift kit, and samco hoses before xmas

  9. I take it you got the valve alright ? Glad i could help out Ian, its a baileys piston valve i'm using at the moment, mine leaks boost sometimes mid range but i'm gona change it for a blitz valve anyway as i couldnt go back to the re-circ type now (i like the granny scaring whoosh to much)

  16. I just got 4 new toyo t1-s's fitted yesterday (cheers Peter)and they are miles better than the brigestones that came off the car

  18. My bargain of the year has to be a set of gold 17" alloys (like new condition) with bridgestone tyres taken from a 2003 wrx for £165

Ye am thinking that too as i called viking yesterday and they dont do them, but they did have g/year f1's at £84 +vat, i went into costco too and they can do me michelin pilot sport's but would need to order 215/40's as they only had 215/45 in stock. I seen those paradas on the net and thought hmm, they look the part.lol
  22. Where can you get them in Glasgow (ti-r's)? I know i can get them from blackcircles on the net (and at a good price too), but i need them real quick as the current bridgestones are getting like slicks.lol
  23. Cheers peeps I just cant make up my mind what to buy, i'm not really concerned about road noise, price or how long they last, grip is my main concern (especialy in the wet)
