  1. Yes the Piccanto was an experience Brian[:S] Graeme, If i had known earlier m8 i would have taken a run over.
  2. Hi Stephen, I've just been so busy. I just got the scoob back from the bodyshop today too, it was off the road after an encounter with a vectra, new front wing, bumper and headlight, but the bodyshop were so busy it took 6 weeks to fix, so i've been using the other halfs escort cabriolet and a 1ltr kia picanto courtesy car[:'(]
  3. The 91 and 94 are the load index weights (higher the number the more weight the tyre can take) the Y and W are the speed ratings ( W is upto 168mph and Y is upto 186mph) the XL is for extra load (thicker sidewalls) any of the 2 ratings should be fine on most Scoob's[]

  12. Good stuff m8, I'm sure Duncan will sort you out ok[]
  13. What you going for now m8 ?[]
  14. Also if your changing the rears i'd go fo 1144's over the 55's if you dont use it on the track or brake very hard, as they will probably never get hot enough.
  15. I havent had any problems with them when they are cold as they stop the car fine. Remember to bed them in before using them very hard, the first few hundred miles are the most important miles on new brakes.
  16. The discs are ebc tgd, i have had them on for 4000 miles with no problems and i'm very hard on brakes (last minute hero) I'm not sure what the 1144s are like as i've never used them, but have had 1155s on this car with the brembos and on my classic with subaru 4 pots and they work ok from cold and very well when warmed up, they do create a lot of dust though. As for the noise when the window is down its like a shshshshsh every time the wheel turns, i was aware of it after i first put them on but now i dont really notice it. Braided hoses and a good fluid are worth having too, i had my front and rears fitted the same day along with hoses and new fluid and it felt great for 2 weeks, but i cooked the fluid as it wasnt up to the job, i have now replaced it with better stuff and they feel great again.
  17. I've got drilled and grooved front and rear discs with mintex 1155 pads, and i can only here them if i've got the window down or when next to a barrier or wall, the pads also squeal when braking at slow speeds if there cold.
  18. Glad to here it all went well Chris[]
  19. I might be up for a wee run up[]
  20. Congrats Imy the car looks great, hope you have many happy trouble free miles in it[]
  21. Hypertech do use Pro-grip m8, there in bonnybridge 01324 810111.
  22. PMSL [] Why would you do it[*-)]
  23. I quite agree all the mods in the world wont make much difference if the rubber cant grip the road. I would take you out for a spin in mine no problems m8, i'm off the road for a few days as my tax is up and i'm still waiting on the dvla giving me back my reg doc so i can tax it, but if you want a spin just give me a shout[]
  24. I noticed a difference with the front links fitted but not nearly as much difference as i did with the rear links. I am running Whiteline front and rear adjustable a/r/b's with heavy duty mounts, front and rear alloy links, front and rear strut braces, anti lift kit, rear axle mounts, HKS front lower brace, Tien springs, Prodrive settings, each mod has made a difference to the handling. If i was to do it again i would get the springs and anti lift kit done first as they require the alignment done, then it would be front and rear links, then uprate the bars.
