they are very different, and both fun. I'd prefer a 205 to start with though.... for the exact reasons you have stated. If it breaks.... who cars LOL An impreza will prob cost about 5x as much over a year to keep in tyres/brakes etc.

205 GTi all the way. You could be on your way for about 1k Then move up to an RA. I think Fee wants an STi RA in a few years to abuse on track.

oil cooler and baffled sump are all on the to-do list Going to keep it pretty much standard engine wise (350bhp os so) for a while.... just spend/work on the braking/cooling/suspension/weight Need to get the oil starvation protected against before popping nice sticky rubber on it too :/ Aiming to take it to the Hot Marque morning on the 5th, along with the corsa (checked with KH and said it would be fine.... spent 20k+ on it so its not a hot hatch special LOL )

off the clocks by a fair bit, indicated.... in my old 500ish bhp supra.... was an experience. Passing scenery like it was going backwards. Never again. Clocks ended at 180
